I honestly thought my dad was angry at me. But that must've been his excitement instead.

Everyone started chattering excitedly, asking questions and already planning who was gonna babysit when.

My father hugged me tightly, and stepped back and looked at me.

"My baby is gonna have a baby?", he asked, proudly.

"Your baby is gonna have a baby.", I assured him. He pulled me into his arms and hug again.

"You're gonna be a great mom.", he whispered.

I felt hot tears form in my eyes, blurring my vision, "And you're gonna be a great grandpa."

I wiped my tears away and my dad wiped his away too.

My mom and I smiled at each other, and Edward clapped his hands together, grabbing everyone's attention.

"So, when's my little cousin coming into the world?"

Corey wrapped an arm around my shoulders and smiled at me monetarily.

"6 months.", he announced, like the proud father he was gonna be.

...
My family and Judy stayed for dinner before me and Corey returned home.

I sat beside him on the couch.

His eyes looked like glitter shinning in the little light given to us from the lamp on the table.

"A baby.", he said again, like it was magical, and it was.

"A little angel of our own.", I added. He looked at me, with the smile to top all smiles.

"It's gonna be a really amazing kid."

I furrowed my eyebrows.
"It? No, not it. How about we call the baby..."

"Pumpkin?", he asked.

"Pumpkin, thats perfect."

He rested his head on my shoulder. "Before we know it, a little baby will be here. And it'll be great. But....Sarah Jane....what if I don't do good?",

"Corey! Don't talk like that. This baby will love you. You're gonna be a prefect dad to our baby.", I scolded.

His smiled returned and he lifted his head up and looked at me.

"This a hockey baby?", he asked, joking.

I'm a Dallas Cowboys girl, born and raised, but Corey is a hockey child, hands down.

"Hey! No just hockey. Football too. Ya know, football is a religion where I'm from."

He rolled his dramatically.

"A half Canadian, half American, half Jewish, half Catholic, half southern and half northern, what kind of child are we having?", he asked laughing.

"A cute one."

...
I sat outside in the back lawn with Corey, wearing my overalls and crop-top, and converses. We were painting a crib for our child.

It was a soft and sweet blue, matching our planned Disney theme.

The phone rang inside and somehow I managed to hear it.

"I'll be right back", I told Corey.

I opened the sliding-screen door and closed it behind me. I picked up the phone and held it to my ear.

"Hello?", I asked.

"Guess what!?", the British voice of Ellie asked loudly.

Ellie was born in England. She and I met in Townsville. She married Ralph Macchio and already had a son with him, Ralph jr.

"You're going to mars.", I joked.
I could feel her roll her eyes.

"No, I'm 3 months pregnant!"

There was a pattern of us screeching at each other in excitement.

"Really!? We're gonna be pregnant together!?"

"Yes!"

Again, the screeching began. Corey must've heard it, and came inside.

"What's your deal?", he asked.

I was talking a mile a minute.

"Do you even speak English?"

I stopped mid sentence and have him the excuse-me-look.

"Ellie and Ralph are having a baby!"

"Really? When?"

"Around when we do.", I told him.

The doorbell rang. Corey answered it. It was Edward with a box.

"What's up?", I asked walking over.

"I'm gonna paint your baby's room!"

I led Edward to the nursery beside mine and Corey's room. It was pain white.

"Disney.", I reminded him. He nodded, with a paintbrush in his teeth, trying to picture what he was gonna do.

"You artist are kinda weird.", I joked.

He turned around and looked and me, "You actors and actress are no different."

I scoffed playfully.
