"Hold on! We gotta get the other one out.", the doctor said.

"THE OTHER ONE!?", me and SJ asked in unison.

"There are two?!", SJ asked.

"Didn't you know?", the doctor asked.

1 Month Earlier
Sarah Jane and I watched our second child, SJ was seven months now. This was the ultrasound.

"It's a girl", the nurse announced.

"A girl? A little mini-me!", SJ said.

I smiled, my baby girl, my daughter.

Present Day, December 13th 1997
SJ was giving birth a month early. This worried us both. But now, we knew we were having twins.

SJ was screaming in pain, I held her hand, and trust me, that was a bad idea.

The screaming of a second child filled the room. "It's a boy!", the doc announced.

SJ and I looked at each other. "A boy and a girl.", she said. "Twins", I added.

The little 4 pound babies were given to us. CJ was holding his little brother. "What's his name?", SJ asked.

I looked at the tiny baby. "How bout....Jesse Wayne Haim.", I asked. Jesse was the name of SJs real mom and her dad's dad. Wayne was for Patrick, his middle name.

"And this girl", SJ began, "we can call Carrie-Ann Rikki Melody Haim.", she said, with a wink.

"Keeping the 2 first name thing in the family?", I joked.

"Oh, you know it."

Danny, the boy SJ and I came to love and befriend, climbed on the bed.

"C-can I h-h-hold her?", he asked. His stutter was better.

SJ pulled him into her lap and placed Carrie-Ann in his arms.

CJ was holding Jesse. We looked like a big family.

...
SJ and I sat on her hospital bed. CJ was asleep in her arms. Carrie-Ann and Jesse in the incubator, because they were early.

"Cor", she asked in a voice that caught my attention.

"Yes, baby girl?"

She looked at me, her eyes almost crying.

"Cor. Can we adopt Danny? Please? I know it's a lot to ask...with the twins and all--"

"Let's do it.", I interrupted.

...
Sarah Janes POV
Corey and I finished the last of the paperwork. Danny Haim. Our son.

We now had 4 kids in total. I was excited though. A mom, a mom...hearing my kids call me that was what I lived for.

We handed the piles of paperwork to the man across the desk, who was letting us adopt Danny.

We arrived home, the twins were a month old. CJ was an amazing older brother. Danny was with CJ on the couch, Gypsy, now 11, had been babysitting.

"Danny, come here", I called.

Danny bounced to me and Corey in the kitchen. "Y- yes?"

Corey bend down and held him by the arms. "We adopted you. You are gonna live with us now. Would you like that?"

I watched Danny's eyes light up, and his small jaw drop.

"Boy, would I! I can't wait to live with you! .....Dad.", he cheered.

My life was complete.

Hi! I can't believe they have 4 kids! But believe it or not, the next chapter will be the last of Paper Airplanes. A epilogue will follow and a authors note. It's been amazing writing this. The final chapter goes up tomorrow.
Then I'll begin writing Death Do Us Part, based on a true story and a River Phoenix fanfic called Chasing The Wind! I can't wait to do those, but this will always have a special place in my heart. I'm gonna miss this, 100%
Have a blessed day!❤
