Corey's POV
Today was our ultrasound. I was beyond excited for my baby.

Today the gender of Pumpkin was revealed to us. My son, or my daughter.

SJ and I already planned names.
Girl: Carrie-Ann Melody Haim.
Boy: Corey Ian Haim Jr.

SJ had formed a cute little baby bump. She was 6 months now. She was so excited to be a mom to our kid.

We waited in the waiting room quietly, holding hands, and smiling.

"Sarah Jane and Corey Haim", a nurse called.

We jumped up and followed her to the room. I was like a kid on Christmas, I guess.

A doctor with a thick Indian accent walked inside. I held SJ's hand has this odd jelly substance was placed on her stomach.

On the screen in front of us, a gray and black figure appeared.

"Is that...", I asked memorized.

"Your baby? Yes. A little baby boy."

I jumped up excitedly and Sarah Jane giggled at me.

"A son! I'm gonna have a son! A little boy!"

I knew very very well I was gonna be a dad. But this moment set it all loose and made it real.

SJ looked amazed at the baby. The baby she was gonna have.

"Corey Ian Haim.", she whispered to herself.

"He's healthy, very strong", the doctor continued.

"The way he kicks, I knew that", Sarah Jane joked.

We all laughed.

"He'll be a fine child. Your due date is September 30th."

The day James Dean died. Hopefully he'll send us some luck.

SJ smiled up at me. We did this. We are gonna be parents.

...
Home, upstairs in the nursery, we looked at the ultrasound photos.

"I can't believe it.", SJ murmured.

"Corey Haim Haim Jr. Has a lovely ring to it. CJ.", I added.

The nursery was beautiful. We put it together and it looked amazing.

"He's gonna be so happy here.", I said.

"He'll be perfect. Smart, strong, talented. I can feel it.", SJ said, daydreaming.

I nodded and wrapped my arms around her. We was gonna be an amazing mother. She smiled at me. Her electric green eyes sparkling like the Emrald City.

"When are we gonna tell our folks?", she asked.

"Tonight. Everyone will have a fit over our son.....I just love saying that, our son."

She smirked, "our son. Our son. Our son. Not as much as I do."

I tickled Sarah Jane, making her laugh like a child.

We then headed down to call our folks over and make dinner.

...
Sarah Jane's POV
I called our families and Corey attempted to make pizza.

Corey had been amazing during my pregnancy so far. Doing a lot so I didn't have to work so much. And he was always talking about the kid. About taking them skating.

Now, it was safe to call the baby, "him".

Corey would also read out loud at night. He said he was practicing for when he was gonna read bedtime stories.

I have the most adorable husband ever.

"Hello?", my mother asked, answering the phone.

"Mama. Get everyone over. We have an announcement. Be here in a hour.", I informed.

She agreed and I told everyone else, getting them excited as I was.

I hung up and turned my attention back to Corey. He'd successfully made pizza. I was impressed.

"Nice work honey."

He shrugged and smiled, "I just read the instructions on the box."

...
Everyone, Corey's family, my family, Edward and Kitty, sat at our dining room table, eating Corey's pizza.

I stood up and rested my arm on Corey's head.

"We have an announcement.", I said cooly, making the room go dead silent.

My god, I've never heard silence quite so loud.

"As you know---"

"Cut to the chase", Edward interrupted. I shot him a look and he shut up.

"We had our ultrasound today.", I went on.

"It's a baby.", Corey added.

I nodded, trying to overpower my laughing at his silliness.

"It's a...boy."

With those 3 words, the room explodes with excitement.

Congratulations and happy remarks stuffed the air.

It couldn't get any better than this.
