Sarah Janes POV
Did that really just happen? Did I just made the 'break-up call'? I think I did. And I did it to the love of my life.

Back in 87', when we first got together and started going steady, I would never imagine this. I didn't think I'd ever have to tell him not to come around.

87'. That was a good year. We were filming The Lost Boys together.

Flashback from 1987:
I sat in a booth in a restaurant across from Corey. The first date. We had finished dinner and just sat talking. Falling in love actually.

"I think you're very pretty", Corey says. I blush wildly.

"Well thank you.", I say smiling.

"Do you know what love feels like", he asked.

"I think feels like...having everything you need in the form of a person right in front I you. And never wanting to let go. And...seeing your whole world and future in that person. Never wanting bad to be done to that person", I answer.

...
A year I'll never get back. I sigh and a single tear falls down my face. Its really over? A knock at the door kills the silence.

Its Edward.

"Hey", he says. "Its over Edward.", I say. He motions me to sit on the couch and we sit and talk.

"What's over?", he asked. "Me and Corey. We broke up. Edward, what now?"

"But you guys are like June and Johnny Cash. You two are the most in love iv ever seen people.", he said.

"Some girl called and said he was having a affair and somebody told him I was seeing Feldman. You let me find out who it is!", I said.

"I remember when you brought him home for the first time in 1987."

"Back then I swore I was gonna marry him someday", I replied.

Edward, not the lovey dovey type, changed the subject.

"I can't wait for Heather to leave.", he said.

Then it all clicked.

...

I hurried up the stairs. I changed into a 1950s swing dress that was black with blue flowers, black heels and I put a blue flower in my hair.

I ran downstairs and told Edward to stay put. I ran down to the lobby and out the door. I had a romance to save. But, was I to late?

I ran until to Corey's front door and knocked on it! "Corey!", I yelled, "Its important!"

Corey opened the door and looked like he'd just got done crying.

"I love you!", I yelled.

"SJ why are you here?", he asked.

"Corey, I figured it out! It was Heather! And Corey, I know what we said today, but I never meant any of it! I know, I know I don't deserve your love or trust at this point, but you have got to believe me! I didn't do anything with Felman and I don't think you cheated either! We've been stupid! We let lies ruin everything we've ever had, Cor. I really want to fix everything, just wanna be with you. But...if you need time, I'm willing to give it", i said.

"I need a bit of time Sarah Jane", he said quietly and closed the door. I was shocked.

I walked off the porch and across the street and punched a tree. Ow. Bad decision.

...

After tracking down where Heather was staying, I walked to her hotel room and banged on the door. She opened it and I walked inside without invitation.

"Take a good look at what you did!", I began yelling, "you've ruined my life! You, I can't stand to look at you! You sorry--"

"What are you talking about?"

"You told Corey I was cheating! Then you called me and told me he was cheating! You never wanted to become friends, you wanted to ruin us!", I shot.

After that I'm not sure who backhanded who first.

After a backhand battle, I only had three words left to say.

"I hate you", I said and walked out.

...
At my place, Ellie, one of the best people iv ever met, sat on my couch. My head placed in her lap and she ran her fingers through my hair.

"I'm sorry about this mess", she said.

"Why? You didn't do anything. Heather ruined the only thing that kept me wishing on a wishing star. Imagine losing Ralph."

Ralph Maccio. Ellies husband.

"There isn't anything more to lose", I said.

"Do you know how it all started? Me and Corey, I mean?", I asked.

"No, tell me.", she said.
