Twenty Seven~Love Anyone Else

Corey's POV
September 9th 1996 10:21 am
"Corey!", Sarah Jane called from upstairs.

I jogged up to see what the problem was. "What's wrong?", I asked before I even got inside.

When I turned the corner and came inside, the floor was wet.

"I think my water broke, Corey", SJ said, turning to look at me.

"Oh my God, oh my God, oh my God!"

I had a freak out.

I ran and hurried her to the car, this was it. My child was coming.

I was, of course, not thinking straight at all. I 100% forgot how to drive for a minute.

"Corey! Get a grip!", Sarah Jane yelled.

I finally managed to get it figured out and drove like a wildman.

I pulled up to the hospital, well, I parked  half on the sidewalk and half on the pavement.

Sarah Jane's POV
Now sitting in my hospital bed, contractions driving me to inanity, my family rushed in.

My father and mother rushed to my side, Corey was outside talking to doctors.

"This is it baby", my mother cood.

"I. Want. Him. Out!", I whined.

Then the doctor came in, telling me I was going to have to push.

Corey came in, he was trying to talk me down but my screaming blocked it out.

"You can do this, keep going", a very young nurse said.

"Don't tell me what to do, you preschooler!", I told her.

Dang, I went full on demon.

I kept going, wanting my child and this pain to stop.

The screaming cries of a baby filled the air.

Both Corey and my father hit the floor. Oh, thats great, my husband and father have fainted.

Corey, of course jumped up from the floor in a minutes time, excitedly.

They carried CJ away to clean him up, then brought him to me in a sky blue blanket.

With a little baby in my arms, time stopped completely.

He had soft and warm skin, bright blue eyes, a button nose, and a little bit of brown hair.

"Oh my God, Corey. He looks just like you!", I said to Corey.

Corey sat beside me. I handed Corey Ian Haim Jr to him.

Corey's face was full of pure and utter joy.

Its impossible for me to love anyone as much as these two, I thought.

6:17pm
Holding CJ and with Corey's arms wrapped around me, watching the 6 o'clock news, I felt so comfortable.

The phone beside the bed rang.

"Hello?", Corey answered, eyes glued to CJ.

"Really? I'll tell her! Alright, have a good night.", he said before hanging up the phone.

"Guess what", Corey said.

"What?"

He smiled, "Ralph and Ellie had their baby today, Jimmy Cal.", he informed.

September 12th 1996 6:15 am
Today was brought CJ home. He didn't cry a lot, rarely really, thank God.

When he did cry, Corey and I took turns taking care of him. Like, giving him is bottle or changing him or putting him down to sleep.

Corey was amazing with CJ. They shared the same smile and smirk. Corey had a magic touch. He could calm CJ down in a matter of seconds.

CJ was crying now, I rocked him silently in the rocking chair in his nursery.

The angel that is my child, look up at me. His eyes meeting mine, his father's eyes.

Being a mom was still fresh on me. Sometimes I couldn't believe this was real. But CJ was an awful lot like a baby doll or a toy.

Corey met me and kissed my forehead, that sent chills down my spine.

He gawked over my shoulder at CJS who was fast asleep how. I slowly made my way to his crib, and placed him inside. Corey and I leaned over to stare at him.

A quiet knock at the door awakened me from my mind.

"I'll get it", I whispered.

Corey nodded, still looking at CJ.

I walked down stairs, and opened the door. Ellie and Ralph stood there. Ellie held a little baby, smaller than CJ in her arms. He was adorable.

"Jimmy Cal, meet your aunt Sarah Jane.", Ellie said.

Ralph was holding RJs (Ralph jr) hand, he was one and a half, and tall for his age.

Both Jimmy Cal and CJ had been on earth 3 days and already were heart stealers.

I ushered them inside, on the couch.

Edward and Kitty were also coming over, the day after CJ was born, they had twins.

Edward Wayne Swayze jr, EJ, and Loretta Patsy Swayze.

This was the most perfect few days of my life
