Chapter 7

As Lyra got ready she worried that maybe Nora's family would not like her. She knows Nora, Nora is a very friendly and outgoing friend. But she doesn't know how her family is. But she knows she only lives with her mom and two little sisters. Both of her sisters are in middle school. Nora's parents got divorced just two years ago. So it was hard on Nora especially being the eldest sibling. So Lyra prayed her family would be as friendly as Nora. "Oh well!! I guess I'll just get going!" Lyra says to herself as she leaves the house all ready for Nora's Christmas party.
As Lyra gets to her house she sighs kind of scared. "Woohh... okay.. alright I got this." Lyra mumbles as she rings the doorbell. All of a sudden the door opens and the smell of traditional Korean food fills up in Lyra's smelling. She hears loud laughter and talking also a little bit of Christmas music in the back. "A-ah! Hello!" Lyra says. It was Nora. "Hey bestie!!! C'mon! Get in!" Nora says as she drags Lyra into the warm and cozy house. There was lots of other people that were probably family there. "Come meet my mother." Nora says as she introduces Lyra to Nora's mother. "Hello.. you must be Lyra. Nora talks so much about you!" The beautiful yet elder woman says. Lyra smiles. "Nice to meet you too." Lyra replies politely. Nora's mother offers a handshake and Lyra shakes it.

Then Nora takes Lyra to the living room where there were lots of little kids and teenagers. "Meet my two little sisters too!!" Nora says as she takes her to two little middle schoolers. "Hello! My name is Sara!!" The one with the short hair says. "I'm Lora." The one with the straight long hair says. "I'm Lyra nice to meet you." Lyra replies with a cheerful smile.

Then Nora takes Lyra to Nora's bedroom upstairs. "You're mother is really beautiful." Lyra says as she sits on a chair in Nora's room. "Yeah she was really young when she had me. She was only eighteen years old when I was born. My sisters were born when my mother was in her twenties. Now she's about in her thirties." Lyra explains. "Ahh very interesting." Lyra replies. Nora nods. "Anyways I'm glad you came." Nora says with a bright smile. Lyra smiles back. "U-umm soo I invited Jungkook and Wonho." Nora says. "That's cool!" Lyra replies. "Really!? You don't mind!?" Nora says excitingly. "Yep!" Lyra replies. "Oh okay alright." All of a sudden the doorbell rings. "Can you get that for me?" Nora asks. "Sure." Lyra replies. Lyra turns the knob and opens the door. Of course it was Jungkook. "Hey Jungkook!" Lyra says happily. "Hey!" Jungkook replies. "Come in Nora and I were waiting for you." Lyra says as she drags Jungkook in. Jungkook nods and follows along. As Lyra brings Jungkook into Nora's room Nora turns and smiles. "Hey." Jungkook says as he gets in. "Hey! I've been waiting!" Nora replies. "Lets go down stairs and introduce you to everyone." Nora says as she brings Lyra and Jungkook downstairs. As they enter the kitchen two light haired girl's smile at Nora, Jungkook, and Lyra. "Hey we're Nora's aunts." One of them said. "Heyyy aunties." Nora says cheerfully. "Yeah we're the cool aunts." The other says. "My name is Naomi." The one with the dark tattoos says. "I'm niki." The one with the showy clothing says.
