Chapter 18: Itachi×Sakura

×Sakura's POV×

Itachi and I walked to his room holding hands...(don't ask me why, he just took my hand.)

We made it to his room and I shut the door behind us.

"Itachi....you can let go now..."-- I told him, although I actually didn't want him to let go of my hand.

"You had me worried sick..."--- he replied not letting go of my hand while looking at the floor.

I didn't know what to say...so I just said the words that first came to my mind.

"I'm sorry."--- that's all I could come up with.

"It's not your fault..."--- he said sweetly. He then pulled me closer hugging me tight, burying his face onto my neck.

"I'm alright. Nothing really happened....just a few wounds...."--- I said in a calm yet soft voice.

"I know you are."--- he said as he slowly pulled apart the hug and flashed a kind smile...

I smiled back, but there was something I was meaning to ask him when we got back.

"Can I ask you something?..."--- I said.

"Of course."--- he replied, still with a smile.

"How did you know....the girl's and I were at The Leaf?..."--- I asked curiously paying close attention to the words that would come out of his mouth.

"Your Necklace."---- he said plainly. But still...I remember he told me about how the necklace can detect when someone runs out of Chakra but it doesn't explain how he knew where we were.

"But the necklace can only detect chakra flow, right?"--- I asked him raising an eyebrow.

"That's for you to discover."-- he said as he patted my head.

"Hmmmphhh"--- was all I said putting a frown on my face....I wasn't pleased with his answer...

"I see your childish attitude hasn't changed."--- he said while chuckling.

"I'm not childish! I'm very mature."--- I stated crossing my arms looking away with my eyes shut.

"Ohh well my sincerest apologies, I didn't know I was mistaken."----he said still chuckling.

"Well you were."--- I stated with a confident tone.

He then came closer taking my hand and placed a small kiss on it...I knew something was up...he ain't act like this if he ain't want something.

"What was that for?"--- I asked a but confused.

"Nothing really, just wanted to show you affection."--- he stated smiling.

"Yeah right."--- I said giggling while turning around and walking straight to bed. Suddenly I felt like the bed was getting further away each time I took a step further.

"What the hell is going on here?..."--- I asked myself as I kept walking but then it all turned pitch black.

×Itachi's POV×

She was walking towards the bed while I looked at her from a distance. She started walking funny....

"What the hell is going on here?"-- she said in a really loud tone of voice.

"Sakura? Is something the matter?"--- I asked but she didn't turn around she just kept walking in a weird way.

She was about to collapse to the floor but I caught her.

"She fainted?"--- I thought inside my head. As I searched for an explanation.

"Huh...her ankles been bleeding this whole time...no wonder she was walking weird."--- I said as I placed her on the bed looking for a bandage.

I found one and quickly took care of her wound.

I wasn't expecting her to wake up any time soon; so I was about to go to sleep on the couch.

"Stay."--- she said grabbing my arm.

"Alright"---

I laid beside her stroking her gorgeous hair.

"Did you miss me?"--- she asked with a faint smile, yet not opening her eyes.

"I did."--- I answered. "Did you miss me?--- I returned the question.

She then opened her beautiful emerald eyes and kissed me softly while going back to sleep again.

"Those that answer your question?"--- she asked giggling.

"Hmm...I suppose."-- I replied with a smile.

"Good. Good night Itachi..."---

"Good night love."
