Chapter 25: Immortality

×Tenten's POV×

"Is that weird?....."-- I asked worryingly. Not even I, could believe what was going on. Why is my body reacting so different? Any scratch or injury I get just disappears in a few days....

"Certainly."-- Kazu replied bluntly while inspecting my every movement....--"Do you still feel any sort of pain?"-- he asked.

"Well...yeah at first...but then I didn't even feel like it was there..."-- I replied.

"Hey uhh Tenten?..."-- Hidan said looking at me awkwardly....

Sometimes I wonder what the hell goes threw that brain of his...

"Yeah?"-- I said raising an eyebrow.

"Do you remember the first time we battled?....."--- He asked me while his eyes narrowed at me.

"Yes I do remember. But what does that have to do with anything?"--- I asked him.

"What's his point in this conversation anyways!?"--- I thought.

"Well I remember I injured your arm pretty badly and you didn't seem to be in a lot of pain...."--- he said while looking at me with a serious expression.

Honestly, I didn't really feel any pain from the injury Hidan inflicted on me that time.

"I wasn't in pain at all.....in fact it didn't actually hurt one bit now that I think about it..."--- I replied.

Kazu then looked at Hidan and they both had a.." Bro-what-the-hell-is-going-on-here"...kinda glare.

"Well if that's so, we'll have to see what's happening to you."--- Kazu said as one of his hands stitched out and tied Hidan to a nearby tree.

"HEY! WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING KAKAZU!?"-- Hidan yelled out really angry while trying to untie himself.

" Well you wouldn't agree with what I'm about to do."-- Kazu replied.

"This is getting creepy...."--I thought while I slowly stepped back.

" YOU FUCKTARD! WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU GONNA DO!?"-- Hidan yelled out again...

"Tenten"-- Kazu called out.

" What?...."--I asked as I slowly stepped back confused...

*sigh* "This is the only way."-- He said in a serious tone.

" Kazu....you're starting to creep me out....what are you gonna do?... "-- I asked him while I looked at him raising an eyebrow.

" It's just a quick sting to your heart."-- he said while trying to convince me.

"KAZU! WHAT THE HELL!? WHY WOULD YOU EVEN STAB ME! AND MOST IMPORTANTLY WHY THE HELL ARE YOU PLANNING ON STABBING MY HEART!?"-- I yelled out in disbelief. "What the hell is he thinking!? He's going to kill me if he does that!"-- I thought inside my head.

"KAKAZU! YOU'RE DE--"-- Hidan was saying but didn't finish his sentence....

Why? You may ask.

Well I got stabbed. Does it hurt? No. Are you bleeding? Yes. Are you dead or alive? I'm shockingly alive.

"Just what I thought."--- Kazu said as he pulled out of my chest a sharp string.

I was too shocked to even move. Why wasn't I dead? Why is my wound completely gone?-- I asked myself and many other questions.

But I didn't seem to know the answer to, why I was fine and why I wasn't dead.

After Kazu stabbed my heart, he untied Hidan.

Then Hidan came running towards me asking me a lot of questions....but I wasn't really paying attention to anything he was saying.

Until I snapped out of it after a few minutes of shock.

"Am I...... immortal?....."--- I asked with a cracked voice.

"Seems like it."-- Kazu replied plainly.

"That's awesome babe!"-- Hidan said while hugging me a bit to tight...

"H-hi-Hidan....y-you're cr-ushing me..."--- I stated with the little oxygen I had left while my face was starting to turn a bit blue.

He pulled away and gave me that perfect smile of his....

"So...umm...does that mean the other's are like me?"--- I asked confused.

"I doubt that."--- Kazu stated while he was about to walk away.

"What do you mean by that?"-- I asked .

*sigh*...."I hate explaining..."--- he muttered...--"Well, you girl's may all have Hashirama's DNA passed onto you but you're all from different clan's.....and by that being said, you all posses different types of wood style jutsus...."--- Kazu said.

I mean it does make sense but still....

"But Kazu, why hasn't this happen before to me? I mean, when I was still at the Leaf...I got wounded alot on missions and my injuries healed taking a normal course...."--- I said looking at him with a frown.

"It's because you didn't awaken your abilities until you performed your wood style techniques for the first time."--- Kazu replied while sitting on the ground.

"I guess that does make sense."--- I replied as I was about to lay down leaning towards a tree.

I noticed that Hidan didn't really open his big mouth that much today.

"Why are you so quiet?"--- I asked him chuckling.

He sat next to me and placed his arm around my shoulder pulling me towards him.

"It's been a day full of surprises. You better go to sleep. We still haven't found that friend of yours."-- He told me.

"Yeah I know..."-- I said as I leaned towards him, resting my head over his shoulder.

"Good night."--

"Mhhm."--- he replied...
