Chapter 31: Memories

×Hinata's POV×

We've been heading straight to Konoha non-stop. It's been a couple of hour's but we're Almost there.

"I see the gates."-- I state calmly, keeping my speed equally to everyone else's so I don't loose track of non of them.

We made it to the gates, it was late at night. Probably around ten o'clock.

" Is there anyone on guard-watch?"--- Sasori asked.

I scanned the area with my Byakugan. "No"-- I stated. --"There's no one."-- I added.

--" Well what are we waiting for!? Let's go inside! "-- Deidara whispered/yelled.

--" And where are we gonna be staying at, dumbass!"---Sasori replied rolling his eyes.

--" Well I don't know! We'll figure that out later..."--- Deidara said carelessly. He was just thinking about where the hell Ino could've gone to.

--"We can't go to Hinata's nor my house because they're located inside our individual clans compounds...."-- Sakura said sighing and lowered her head to think of a place to go to without getting caught.

--"We can go to my place."-- Itachi raised his voice out of the blue.

--"But Itachi, isn't the Uchiha clan's compound....."-- Kisame started off saying but stopped when Itachi cut him off.---"Off limits? Destroyed? Full of memories I don't really want to remember?......yes, it is. And that's why we're going there. No one has dared to step foot on the Uchiha compound since...."--- Itachi stopped while clenching his fists.

Sakura then patted his back gently and said...--"Itachi.... it's ok, you don't have to talk about it....."-- he then looked at her and took a deep breath beginning saying ---"I'm fine. Let's get going."--

{Minutes later...}

×Sakura's POV×

We made it to Itachi's house a few minutes later, it was located far away from the villages main communities.

"There's enough rooms for everyone....feel free to do what you like. Bye."-- Itachi said and left quickly to his room shutting the door. Luckily he atleast gave me the spare keys to that room in case I was already sleepy. He locked himself inside because he said he didn't want to deal with other people right now....to many memories from this place were affecting him.

Hinata came up to me and said--"He'll be ok."--  she then flashed that kind smile of hers and left with Sasori to their room.

Minutes passed and everyone was at their rooms except one person....

....Deidara....

He was sitting on the corner of the living room gazing at the sky from the other side of a window.

I felt bad since I'm sure he really misses Ino. He really does love her, I'm sure of it.

I slowly walked up to him without making a single sound and sat beside him.

"You know, I'm sure she misses you too."-- I said trying to cheer him up.

"Hmm....then why did she leave.... why wasn't she able to trust me to go with her....why didn't she even say.... goodbye...."-- Deidara said....he was starting to get teary so I quickly changed the subject.
