Chapter 28: Close enough

×Ino's POV×

I heard someone knock on my rooms door. --"Who is it?"-- I asked in a lazy voice as I rubbed my eyes.

"It's Chojuro. I just wanted to let you know that Lady Mizukage needs to talk to you."--

I quickly sat up and started getting ready. "OHH umm I'll be there in a minute."-- I said while packing my stuff.

I then walked out and headed towards the Mizukage's office.

I knocked on her door and she told me to come in.

"You wanted to talk to me Lady Mizukage?....."-- I asked her curiously.

"Yes."-- she stated plainly.--"I need to know if you have any sort of "relationship" with the Hokage."--

"What do you mean by relationship?"-- I asked confused.

"Do you still communicate with her?"-- she asked with a serious expression.

"No...."-- I answered annoyed as I recalled what Yahiko told me when I was at the hideout.

"Hmmmphhh. Very well then. You may leave."--- she said with a smile.

I nodded and headed out the village,but before I made it to the gates I felt a something poke my shoulder, I turned around to see who it was.

"Chojuro?..."-- I said confused.

"Take care."-- he said with a faint smile.

"I will."-- I stated as I waved at him when I left.

×Sakura's POV×

Itachi and I just waited for our comrades to arrive. It was taking them longer than I expected...I was starting to get impatient by the minute. I was sitting on a log, I got up and crossed my arms as I tapped my foot in annoyance.

"When are they planning on coming!? We don't have all day!"-- I stated irritated.

Itachi sighed as he took my wrist and pulled me towards him, he was still sitting down so he made me sit on his lap.--"Calm down Sakura. They'll be here soon enough."-- he stated while stroking my hair.

I ignored his words but later on started to calm down. I didn't know if I was hallucinating or something, but I was pretty sure I saw Nagato's shiny red hair from a distance.

"Looks like they're arriving."-- Kisame said.

"Looks like it."-- I replied.

The figures started to become clearer. It was Nagato, Zetsu and Tobi.

"We know were Miss Ino is at~"-- Tobi said in a cheerful voice as he jumped towards us.

"Really!? You found her!?"-- I asked him with my hopes up.

"Yes, but she's currently leaving Kirigakure as we speak."--- Nagato said in a calm tone.

"She was at the Hidden Mist village!? Did they capture her!?"-- I asked panicking. I was worried so much! Even tho Ino and I have our differences, she's the best person you'll ever meet. Well in my opinion.

"Relax. She didn't get captured but I'll tell you later about what happened. Right now we better get going."--- the white half of Zetsu spoke.

"What about the other's?"-- Kisame asked. --"Are you planning on leaving them behind?"--- Itachi added.

"We already took care of that."-- the black half of Zetsu spoke.

"Ok, let's go then."-- I stated.
