Chapter 33: Think, before you act

×Tenten's POV×

I wake up to the smell of my favorite food, sesame dumplings. But, the problem is that...Hidan nor Kazu know how to cook.

"Then who the hell prepared breakfast?" -- I asked myself as I jumped out of bed just to see my adorable looking boyfriend sleeping on the floor with a pillow and two blankets. "He must've fallen outta bed while he was dreaming again."-- I thought as a slight smile appeared on my face.

I turned the rooms door knob and walked down stairs making my way to the kitchen.

--"Morning Tenten."--I heard a familiar voice say quite boringly. It was Kazu. He was sitting on the kitchen counter while counting his money...as always, there's nothing new about this guy.

"Morning."-- I replied bluntly while yawning and stretching my arms.

I then glanced around and saw a bag full of food on the dinning table.

Kazu noticed my face lit up and rolled his eyes.

-"I got your favorite."-- he said plainly.

--"Thanks!"-- I replied with a really wide smile.

Kazu smirked at my response as he got off the kitchen counter and placed his money down for once in his life.

He started walking towards me and stood in front of me, crossing his arms while looking down at me...(yeah he's tall *sigh*)

--"Don't thank me just yet. You still owe me..."-- he said with a serious tone yet he had the audacity to smirk.

--"Yeah, yeah..."-- I said sighing and shrugged my shoulders.

--"Remember, I don't like to be kept waiting. The more time you go without paying me back, the greater your debt will be."-- he said and had the nerve to pinch one of my cheeks.

--"Hey! I'm not a little kid! Geez."-- I said annoyed with a frown.

--"Whatever you say kiddo."-- he said before walking away.

*sigh* Kazu can be such a jerk sometimes...

{Minutes later...}

I had already eaten my breakfast and went to take a shower, get dressed and pack my things.

I was ready to leave and so was Kazu.

--"Where the hell is your boyfriend? We're supposed to be at the Uchiha compound at eight o'clock sharp. And we're already five minutes late."-- Kazu said irritated.

--"I'll go look for him."-- I said as I ran up the stairs and opened my bedrooms door. I looked around to look for him but he wasn't there....no vital signs whatsoever. I sighed as I closed my rooms door and went to look for him elsewhere.

--"Hurry up Tenten, I'm not planning on getting scolded because of you two."-- Kazu said as he tapped his foot impatiently.

--"I know, I know! No need to remind me."-- I said as I was about to walk in the bathroom but SOMEONE had to open the door at that instance.

I then felt a bruise starting to form on my forehead because of the impact the door had with MY FACE.

--"Ouuuww! That hurt!"-- I said while rubbing my forehead.

--"Huh?..."-- Hidan said oblivious but then quickly realized what he had done. --"Ohh, sorry babe. I didn't see you there."-- he said as he gently kissed my forehead.

"Hmmmphhh. What have you been doing!? We need to leave! Seriously Hidan...."-- I said annoyed as I looked away pissed off.

--"Ok, I'm sorry I just got up and I was getting ready. Forgive me?"-- he said with puppy eyes as he held my hands.

--"Nope."-- I replied without even thinking it twice.

--"What am I supposed to do to make you forgive me then!?"-- he asked desperately...

--"I love taking control over these kinds of situations..."--

I smirked and said...--"A piggyback ride."--

--"Ohh come on! What are you, five!?"-- he said complaining.

--"Pleaseeee"-- I said with a sad face.

He sighed and got on one knee for me to hop on his back. --"Fine."-- was the last word he said as we went downstairs and took our leave.

We walked, oh sorry, I meant, Hidan and Kazu walked 20 minutes straight. We were getting close to our destination but then I heard a familiar voice...

"Two hundred and fifty three, two hundred and fifty four, two hundred and fifty five..."--

--"Ohh crap...."-- I whispered.

Hidan and Kazu immediately stopped walking.

--"What's wrong babe...do you know him?"-- Hidan asked.

--"Yeah...can you guys do your best to avoid him...?"-- I asked as I tightened my grip on Hidan's cloak and buried my face onto his neck.

--"Ok, don't worry...he won't even notice we're here."-- he replied and then we took a different path to the Uchiha compound, this path was five minutes longer by distance but it was our best choice.

We then made it to the Uchiha compound. Sakura and Hinata were really happy to see me, they pushed me off Hidan's back and hugged me tight.

"Tenten! You made it!"-- Sakura said cheerfully.

"It's nice to see you guys again."-- I said while laughing a bit...--"Wait how long has it been?"-- I asked clueless.

"Only two day's!"-- Hinata replied giggling.

--"We haven't seen eachother for two days and we're already this hyped up!"-- Sakura said as we all started to laugh.
