I made my way to my lake, the waterfall roaring in my ears. I sat upon a rock and smiled up at the moon, feeling the light cascade across my skin. I felt my mom in my mind, her powers radiating through me.
I heard the packs howls, panting my heart as I felt their sorrow. I felt it until the sun rose, my heart beating faster. I was going to see him today, I've missed them all so much. I've missed him so much.
I walked to the dance floor, pulling myself up into a tree when I noticed Xander sitting in the middle. He looked so lost, staring up at the sky. I watched the bushes rustle, my body instantly stiffening as I watched.
El, Daniel, Alex and his mate Brian walked through, looking drained and broken. They sighed as they saw Xander, eventually sitting with him until the late afternoon.
As they made their way to my grave sight, I made my way to the house. I walked barefoot along the grass, immediately sending my powers into the soil. I watched the sun set, lifting my hands in the middle of the field and just released everything I had pent up inside of me.
It was as if a curse was lifted, a rush of wind blowing back into the forest with such force. I walked up the steps to the hope, touching the hard wood in the lobby when I stepped in. I used my powers to lift the air, lifting the dust in a swirl out the door and windows. I lit up the lights, brightening the rooms.
It was as if the house was so cold and I was a flame on a candle. I let my scent expand into every corner of the home. Every crack, dent, line was filled with my scent and light, water trickling down the dry wooden floors to hydrate them and make them strong again.
I walked up the stairs and let little sparks ignite in the air, twinkles of light following behind me with every step I took. I walked into his room and smiled, my clothes laying in a heap in his bed. I walked into his closet and took out all my clothes and threw them around the room, my white dress clinging to my skin.
I took all the books off the shelf, my hands warming as I touched the spine on each one. I spun in circles in the middle of the room, my hands stretching out as I released my powers. I looked at myself in the mirror, my eyes such a bright glowing orange it shocked me. My hair was no longer slightly red, it was now a straight out fire orange. My skin was free of blemishes, except for my mates mark at curve of my shoulder. I smiled as I pulled my shirt up and saw the Moon Goddess's mark, a simple white crescent moon on my rib cage.
I took a step out and walked to the music room. My room, our room. I slipped the necklace with the key off my neck, pushing it into the lock and turning until I heard the familiar click.
The room was so dark and dreary it physically hurt me. I walked to the widows and threw back the curtains, propping them open to let in the air. I pulled the dust from everything, sending little sparks again. I picked up the wind, letting it flow through the room and back out into the air of the forest. I walked to the piano and sat, my fingers resting over the keys. I pressed slowly, eventually speeding up as I played the familiar tune.
I heard the paws on the forest in front of the house, my music dripping from my fingers as I poured my emotions into the familiar tune. Claire de Lune had such an emotional hold on me, it meant so much to me. It contained the moon within it's keys, and I think that's why it was close to me and the werewolf community.
I heard a roar under me, the sound of his voice causing me to shiver. I continued with my fingers as I heard their steps down the hallway, the sound growing louder until it filled the house. Even when I felt his gaze on my back, my eyes flashing when the last note hit the air.
"Who the hell are you?"
I turned around and stood up, their breaths hitching. I felt his whisper as I caught his eye, his mouth dropping open. "Mate."
