In my entire life, I've never had a hangover. I've always been told how much they suck, mainly from Daniel and one of his idiot friends, but I had never had the opportunity to have a pounding headache or extreme nausea that's always associated with it.
Whatever the hell was in that needle they injected in me, fucking sucked.
I woke up puking my guts out. I had shivers against my skin, despite the fact I was sweating bullets. Pain was rocketing through my veins, my blood felt like sludge, I thought I was dying. Hell, getting bitten by a fucking Rogue hurt less than this.
"Once your wolf is weak enough, your mate will feel everything." I looked up to an old man standing in front of my cell, wearing a very expensive looking suit. He looked like he didn't belong here, like the dirt and grime from these cells were going to contaminate him.
As if.
"Who the fuck are you." I growled, pushing myself onto my knees and forearms.
"Your king, my son will love you. You'll be a wonderful Luna to our pack." I growled, trying to stand up. "Growl at me again and we'll start your punishment earlier than planned."
I pushed myself to stand, walking over to the bars. My hands sizzled as I gripped them, a crazed look coming over my features. "Let me the fuck out before I rip your head off!"
He back up, a look of fear flashing over his eyes before he masked it. "Randall! Come control your mate!"
I released my grasp when I heard footsteps down the hallway, my eyes widening when I took in who walked in. It was the scrawny Rogue that stalked me, his rat face wearing a smirk as he stepped next to his father.
"Hello princess." I growled, running forward against the silver bars.
"Don't you fucking touch me."
"This'll be fun." His father muttered as two more Rogues came in, opening the cell slowly. They walked in and gripped both of my arms, forcing me up the stairs.
They brought me down two corridors before I was led into a large courtyard. The Moon shown through the air, lighting up the what would be a dark room. They pushed me on my knees, the sound of my shirt ripping as they cut it off.
"Everyone, were gathered here to teach your new Luna pain." I looked up, realizing we were surrounded by at least 100 Rogues. Some looked crazed, shaking with greasy hair and torn clothes, while others looked calm, like they honestly didn't belong there.
I heard it before I felt the pain. The crack of the whip sounded through the air, just as pain exploded on the skin of my back. I grit my teeth, squeezing my eyes as my wolf wavered. I sucked in my breath as another crack ran through the air, the hot blood pouring down my skin.
"Keep it up till her wolf lets down her wall, I want her mate to feel this." I heard his sick grin by the way he spoke, my eyes watering as another hit my back.
'I'll keep it up as long as I can, but I don't know how long I can make it. I'm still trying to get through whatever the hell was in that syringe."
"I can't let him feel this." Tears poured out of me as they continued the rain on my back. I don't know how many times I was hit, I stopped counted after 7. Black dots clouded my vision as I finally sucked in a breath, my skin on fire as I tried to stop myself from screaming.
Just like that, my wall came down. I heard him screaming in my head, but I could t say anything but writhe in pain on the cement floor. The Rogues had dropped my arms, and stood there, watching me.
'Ashe I'm sorry, I'm so sorry, it was my job o protect you.'
I let out a noise, somewhat in between a scream and a groan, and pushed myself on my knees. I looked up to Randall and his father, who simply smirked. Randall wound the whip around his hand, the blood dripping from the thread.
