TWELVE

I'll need to look out for advances from Baekhyun starting now. I get up before I start blushing and bow my head.

"Sorry Baekhyun but I'm not going to stay here for you. My intentions were to leave and meet up Rin so I'll just leave. Have a nice time" I said and left.

*Changkyun's pov*

I walk up to Baekhyun after the scenery I just saw and sit next to him.

"You got rejected very easily by Hyo Rin haven't you?" I say and laugh.

"She is something alright. I'm surprised though. She didn't avoid me when I asked her the question" Baehkhyun said.

"Well you did make her sit on your lap so that's just a bit of a normal reaction get" I say.

"By the way Changkyun, where were you? Did you go roaming off somewhere to be alone again?" Baekhyun turned his attention to me.

"I went to do that but saw Rin playing alone on the basketball field so I had to go and annoy her. I ended up playing with her and took out my frustration on the game. She is a pretty good basketball player I could say" I said.

"So Rin was alone away from the party playing basketball and you just happened to be there at the right time for the right reasons" Baekhyun said smirking.

"What is that supposed to mean?" I asked him confused.

"Nothing important" Baelhyun just replied with a smile.

After about five minutes, Jess came over to chat with us and other of her girl friends too.

*Hyo Rin's pov*

I got to the dorm and opened the door to our room and not see Rin anywhere. I call out for her but don't see her. I notice the window on her side slightly open and go to close it but I see her asleep on the rooftop. I don't want to wake her up so I just take out a fleece blanket from the cabinet and put it on her so she doesn't freeze to death. I go get ready to change into my sleepwear and get inside my covers falling asleep quickly.

*Chaerin's pov*

I wake up to some light burning my face. I open my eyesand see myself still on the rooftop and with a blanket. I look over the window and see Hyo Rin sleeping. She must have put that blanket on me. I slowly get up and look down. I see people already walking around the campus and I check my phone to see what time it is. It's already 11 am. I go back inside my room and start cooking some pancakes for Hyo Rin and I. I jam to my music quietly and finish the pancakes. I put them on the table and go wake up Hyo Rin.

"Hyo Rin, wake up. I made your favorite Pancakes" I say.

"You are awake already?" She asks me.

"It's 11 am. I hope I am awake" I say and chuckle a bit.

Hyo Rin eventually wakes up and comes into the kitchen and sits at the table. We start eating and I can already see Hyo Rin glancing on the plate packed with more pancakes.

"If you ask me if there are more, there is in the fridge for snacks or tomorrow" I say quietly.

"You just know exactly what I think about don't you Chaerin" Hyo Rin replies with a big smile.

"Yeah yeah, now eat" I say and laugh.

We finish eating and Hyo Rin gets a call from her parents. She answers them and starts a friendly chat. I get a text from someone Ii hung out at school with asking me why the police came to get me and I told them not to worry. They knew I was in Bloodwood but didn't know the reason. I close my phone and leave a note to Hyo Rin to meet me in the basketball court after since I want to play a bit before doing whatever she wants. I head downstairs and hurry up to the Basketball court. When I get there, no one is around so I am relieved. I put my headphones in, start the music and start playing alone a bit.

~Flashback before mother's death~

"Chaerin, please come here and help your mother out will you?" My mom asked me a lend me the carrots to cut them.

"Are you feeling any better mom? You don't go to work no more and a doctor comes to see you ever week. Tell me it will be over soon right?" I asked her worriedly.

"Mommy is doing fine. Don't worry Chaerin. She will be back in track before you come home with bad grades" She says smiling.

"You know I don't have bad grades because I want to be able to help you at home mommy" I say as I finish the pack of carrots.

"I know baby girl. Now come here and give me a hug" She says as I walk over to give her a hug.

"I love you mommy" I say and close my eyes.

"I love you too Chaerin" She says and kisses my forhead.

~End of flashback~

I start panting and look around me everywhere. Was I dreaming? Did I just see my mom? I felt water on my cheeks only to see me crying. I rub my eyes and look over next to me seeing Hyo Rin.

"I tried calling you over 20 times. Are you death? Why are you crying?" Hyo Rin asked me.

"It's nothing. Did anyone else pass over here and saw me?" I asked her as I look around.

"I saw Baekhyun and Changkyun being followed by other girls but that's it. They looked our way but that's it" She said and went to sit on the bench.

"I just had a flashback of when my mom was alive. Before she died" I said and sat next to her with my eyes closed.

"Everything is going to be okay. I'm here for you Chaerin" Hyo Rin says as I put my head on her elbow and she rubs my hair.
