TWENTY FOUR

"How would you know? You aren't here" I snap back at him with an angry tone.

"You got into a fight. I can see that because of your hand Chaerin. I'm not that dumb" He says.

"Don't call me that" I said.

"I am aloud to call you whatever I want" He says getting pissed.

"You are not fit to call me by my name. Your not a friend nor family. You can never be my stepfather eather" I yell at him.

"Sorry but that's to late. Once you get out of Bloodwood, you are comming back with me and you will be tought a big lesson" He says.

"I don't think your lessons will do anything and I am never comming back you idiot" I say.

"You will probably be going to jail once you get out. I've found out what you've been really doing 'Hunter'" He says while getting closer.

"Don't call me that. That site is shut down" I reply.

"All the things you've done were basically all the unsolved cases we tried to solve. Hyo Rin and you will both be going to jail " He says.

"Hyo Rin only joined me, she didn't do nothing. You are not going to put her in jail. If you want me in jail that bad, then fine but don't you ever put her in my situation" I reply coldly.

"Rin... You can't say that" Hyo Rin says.

"Yes I can Hyo Rin. You joined me because you wanted to be with me. You are just not going to go to jail because of me. You'll go to college and everything else but you aren't following in my steps" I say and look at her.

"Hyo Rin. I need to talk to Chaerin alone. Can you please leave us" He asks and she looks at me for approval and I nod. She leaves and my step father holds onto my hand really hard almost crushing my bones.

"You are not going to have a perfect life here nor outside. You should just give up and accept your mother is dead and that I'm your only family that is left by law" He says in my ear.

I wince in pain until I see someone grab his arm making him release me and looking at the guy next to him.

"I'd advise you not to touch her if you don't want to go to the hospital today" I hear Changkyun say and look up at him.

"Who are you to even order me around. A cop!" My step father says.

"I'm her boyfriend" He said and I looked at him shocked.

Changkyun let's go of him and comes next to me.

"As I was saying. Get out of my life. Don't talk to me, don't call me by my real name and don't ever come face to face with me. Dissapear and everything will be better" I say and get up.

"Chaerin, you will not leave me alone here or you will regret this" He says getting angry.

"She told you to leave her alone. Get lost" Changkyun says and holds my hand to drag me out of there.

Changkyun drags me out of the building and we start walking. He doesn't say a word and just continues walking while holding onto my hand. I don't bother asking him where we are going since he doesn't seem too happy at the moment. Eventually, Changkyun stops at where we first had our first encounter at the bench. He let's go of me and goes to sit on the bench. I sit next to him and look at him.

"How did you know where I was?" I asked him.

"That's where family meet eachother, plus Baekhyun told me" He says.

"Ah... By the way, thank you. Seriously" I said.

"I had to get you out of there. I didn't like it when he crushed your hand, plus I know you hate him" He replies.

"Your right. I do hate him. I don't even want him to exist, yet I have to deal with it" I said with my head looking down at my shoes.

"Can I ask you something?" Changkyun asked.

"I guess" I replied.

"I heard him Call you Chaerin. Is there a reason why you don't want no one to call you that?" He asks me and I get stiff.

"I... I just don't like it. The last person to call me Chaerin and said it with love was my mother before she died. I don't want people to call me like that because I remember her" I say and start tearing up.

"I... I'll go for a walk. You should head back with Hyo Rin and Baekhyun" I say as I get up and start leaving.

I feel him tugg me and turn me around holding me into a hug. I am shocked and I don't move.

"You've been through enough. Let it out if you want" He says.

"I can't let it out" I reply.

"Why? I'm not judging" He holds onto me a bit tighter.

"If I let it out, I'll be weak. I don't think I'll be able to stop" I reply starting to break.

"I'll stay until your done" He says.

I finally end up breaking into tears and holding onto Changkyun really hard. I hide my face into his chest and he rubs my back telling me that everything will get better. I stayed there for about a good thirty minutes and finally ended up calming down. I got off of him and wiped my now puffy red eyes.

"I'm sorry for your shirt" I say to him.

"It's fine. Let's go get something to eat at the coffee shop. I think you need something" He says and I follow him.

We walk to the coffee shop amd order something to eat. Everyone looks at me and Changkyun sitting at the table and I hide my face. Changkyun puts his coat on me amd hides my face.

"Keep that on if your not comfortable right now" He says.
