THIRTY FIVE

"Rin. What happened?! Who did this to you? I'll kill him!" I say not being able to stop crying.

"I'm fine don't worry about it" She says faintly.

"What are you doing here after I gave you orders?" Bren said to me getting out of the building helping her in the car with Valex and I.

"What do you think I'm doing here!? I can't see the girl I love die in this moment!" I yell at him and he sighs.

"It was about time you admit you like her" He said.

We get in the car and I sit next to Rin holding onto her hand. I can hear her breathing heavily and trying to keep her thoughs busy to not think of the pain.

"You'll be alright Rin. We are almost there. Hang in there" I tell her and she turns to look at me.

"You know, I thought that I would have died in just one shot but I guess I'm pretty strong" She says and I pout.

"Did you order Bren to make us all stay in the base knowing you were ready to die?" I asked her and she didn't answer. I felt a sharp pain in my heart knowing she knew about the risks.

"Changkyun we're here. Get her out" Bren said and I did as told.

~Chaerin's pov~

I'm getting sleepier. It's starting to get hard to keep my eyes open. I want to sleep. I feel my body being lifted and I see lights of the building we just entered. I hear Changkyun screaming but I can't understand what he is saying. I look up to see Valex and I slowly drift off to sleep.

~Changkyun's pov~

"Someone help us! This girl has been shot and she is dieing!" I scream and a couple doctors come up running.

"Guys she isn't opening her eyes!" Valex says and my heart drops. I run up to her and look at her.

"Rin wake up! You can't die right now. I need you!" I say as I cry.

The doctors take a hold of the bed and they start leaving to the operation room.

"We'll take it from here. Wait over there and we'll give you some news" The doctor says and leaves to the operation room.

~Chaerin's pov~

The first thing I notice is I smell homemade french toast mom used to make. I open my eyes and see that I am in my bed at home. I get up to leave downstairs and I go to the kitchen. As I walk in the kitchen, I see my mother cooking and I open my eyes wide.

"Mom!?" I say surprised.

"Good morning Chaerin, did you sleep well?" She asked me with her most beautiful smile.

"I can't believe it's you! Your alive!" I say and run up to her to hug her and cry.

She hugs me back and we stay like this for a good five minutes. After that, we set the table together and we put the French toast in the middle. We start eating and talking about the good times and then I start talking about Hyo Rin and the boys. She looks at me listenning carefully to everything I tell her, with a smile forming on her lips.

"You should be nice to them" She says as if she knew how I was around them.

"Mom. I just don't show that I care in the way everyone should" I said.

"Honey, do you really want to die?" She asked me and that's when I clicked that my mother wasn't real. She was dead.

"You are dead. How am I talking to you?" I asked.

"You are between life and death. That's how your talking to me. Now let me ask again, do you really want to die?" She says.

"Chaerin, please wake up" I hear a faint voice ringing in my ears.

"You hear him do you? He has been by your side ever since you got in the hospital. He really loves you" My mom says and I melt.

"But mom, I can't live without you" I say in despair.

"Yes you can. You have Hyo Rin and Changkyun. They will be able to make your life better" She replies and I hear Changkyun's faint voice again.

"You are right. I guess I have to go.... Mom, please wait for me until we meet again" I reply to her.

"I'll always be here for you, now go my beloved Chaerin. Stay happy" She says and hugs me goobye.

I look at her one last time while she smiles and I close my eyes only seeing black. Once I open up my eyes again, I see myself in a white hospital room on a bed. I try to get up but I wince in pain and wake up Changkyun by accident. Once he sees me, he is about to scream in hapiness but I shush him. He whispers faintly.

"Your finally awake!" He says coming near me holding my hand with a tear roaming down his cheek.

"I heard you calling my name. I couldn't let myself die after hearing your voice. I would habe missed you" I whisper back getting a better grip on his hand.

"I was worried when I heard the news. I am very happy you are still safe at least" He says and kisses my forehead.

Before he sits back down, I hold onto his shirt and he turns to face me.

"I'm sorry for this" I said.

"As long as you are alive, everything is fine" He replies.

"I... I love you Changkyun" I say and see him looking into my eyes deeply.

Next thing I know, Changkyun and I are kissing eachother as if we longed for our touch. Once he parts away he looks at me and smiles.

"I love you too"
