TWENTY TWO

I left the dorm and went straight to where I usually meet up with Valex. Valex was there waiting for me and I ran up to him and hugged him.

"What's wrong Rin?" He asks me hugging back.

"My step father texted me. You know why" I said.

"I just wish that he would leave you alone. By the way what happened to your hand!?" He asks surprised and worried.

I explain to him what happened and he just listens and tries to calm me down. We drive off to the base and meet up with Judy. Bren wasn't there since he had work in the morning. While I was with Valex and Judy, I ended up drinking a lot of liquor and getting drunk.

*Valex's pov*

"I just wish that I could just die now and go meet my mom and dad" I heard Rin say.

"Rin, don't say that. You don't mean it" I say and put my hand on her shoulder.

"Valex, you have no idea what I have been throught ever since they left me! I could have died so many times that I just gave up trying. Why do you think I am full of scars? I just want my life to be over" She says and starts sobbing.

"Your drunk Rin. Maybe we should get you back" I say and she yells.

"No! Give me another drink! Where are the drinks when I need them?" She yells.

I can't handle her like this so I take her phone and look for the closest number.

"Hello?" I hear on the other side of the line.

"Who is this? This isn't Hyo Rin" I say confused.

"Hyo Rin is sleeping. It's me Changkyun, the guy you saved last time. I was sleeping over at their place. Why are you calling?" Changkyun says at the other end of the line.

"I guess none of you know that Rin is with me and completely drunk. I need you to come get her at the entrance before something happens" I say.

"What is she doing with you drunk ?" He says getting a bit pissed.

"Dude chill, We were with Judy. Anyways no time to talk, come down to get her. I don't want her to get cought by the guards" I say and hang up.

"Let's go Rin. We are leaving" I say as I lift her up.

"No! I don't want to go back in this hell hole" She says hitting my back hard but I don't pay attention and just throw her in the car.

"RIN! STOP IT NOW. YOU ARE JUST BEING A STUBBORN KID RIGHT NOW. MAYBE YOU SHOULDN'T DRINK ANYMORE" I yell very angrily and she shuts her mouth only to whisper a few words.

"Just kill me and everything will be fixed" She says and closes her eyes.

I start driving quietly and carefully. I have seen Rin drunk, but not this drunk. It actually scared me this time. She was talking about dieing more than anything else. I knew she wasn't in a pleasant state but talking about suicide made my heart break because I care for her. I finally arrive and see Changkyun walk up to the car.

*Changkyun's pov*

I walk up to the car and Valex puts his window down.

"She fell asleep, but I can't guarentee she will stay asleep" He says and signs looking at her.

"You guys drank didn't you?" I say since I can smell the alcohol everywhere in the car.

"I drank one shot. Her on the other hand, is more drunk than ever. She had about 16 or what I remember" Valex says.

"You should have given her a less stronger one" I replied opening the door and taking her in my arms.

"She knows the difference, I am sure if I switched it, she would have killed me. Take care of her please" Valex says worried.

"I will, now hurry up and leave before we get cought" I say and start walking up the way back to Rin's dorm.

"Just leave me on the road so I can get hit" I hear her say in her half asleep face.

"Don't say that. You don't mean it. What about Hyo Rin then?" I ask.

"She is better off without me. She is in this mess because of me" She says now fully awake.

"Put me down! I can walk" She says and hits me until I let her off my back.

"You sure you can walk?" I ask her.

"Yeah...yeah... I can" She says stubbling.

"Probably not. Help me?" She says.

I go to her and wrap one of her arms on me to get a good grip and help her walk. Valex wasn't joking when he said that she drank a lot. We finally get to the dorm and I tell her to get dressed into something else and brush her teeth while staying quiet but that didn't last long. I ended up bringing her to the bathroom and brushing her teeth for her. She would still smell like liquor but only a bit.

"You should take a cold shower to help you calm down" I say and start the shower.

"I don't want to I'm perfectly fine" She says as she was walking away but I catch her and put her in the bath getting her soaked.

She looks at me madly and she throws water at me.

"You are acting like a complete child" I say.

"I haven't been a child since the age of ten" She says still throwing water at me and I get mad and get in the bathtub with her pinning her to the wall. Water falling down on my back and my hair soaking wet, I stare at her in the eyes and she does the same with a faint tint of red appearing.

"Stop Joking around Rin. You know a guy like me could take advantage of you if you continue like this" I say and she turns her ace around to avoid me.
