Shane's POV

"And Mr.Yaw.. Why do you think that Mr.Adams is not capable to handle the children you share." The judge said. I was fighting for custody.

"Well, your honor.. you see, Shaylee was and is always mine. I raised her. He was always gone, and considering I worked from home, it made sense. And with Rylee, I'm the bilogical one. He has nothing to do with him. Oh and should I mention that Mr.Adams said in a text that he would like to have sex with our 15 year old daughter?" The judge quickly looked at Ryland.

"Mr.Yaw, do you have proof of this?"

"Yes sir." I grab my phone, find the text, and hand it to the officer, who hands it to the judge. He reads. And his eyes go big.

"I declare full custody of Shaylee and Rylee Yaw to Shane Yaw. There will be supervised visits but only with the child's permission. This case is closed."

I felt joy. Now the feeling of love I felt with Ryland, has now changed to the love I feel for my children.

Two years later, I remarried. A woman. We had one kid together that we named Katherine. And Ryland? I have no idea where he is. He just left.

Shay graduated high school. She is now moving to Rhode Island to go to RISD.

Rylee just turned 4. He is so much like me you don't understand. But all I have to say is.. We did good
