Wedding Dress (A Taeyang one shot - BIGBANG)

The beautiful wedding chapel was decorated with snowy white ribbons and the room was filled with the sweet aroma of white flowers. The wedding pastor stood at the alter and prepared himself for later on. The building was slowly filling up with people of all ages. Friends and family gathered to attend this joyous day. Taeyang sat down on the white leather piano bench and placed his gentle hands on the piano keys.

'This one is for you...,' he thought and let the music take over him.

His hands roamed across the piano keys gracefully and his eyes closed. He could only see the face of the one he loved so much. He imagined her angelic face smiling at him with her beautiful eyes that seemed to sparkle when she was with him. The thing is was that today was her wedding day.

Flashback One~

_____ and Taeyang sat on top of the roof of her family's car on a warm, clear and sunny day. Her family decided to have an outdoor barbecue and she was allowed to invite whoever she wanted to come along. Of course, she invited her best friend.

"I'm gonna let go any minute now," he threatened playfully and held her over the edge of the car.

"Hajima! Don't you dare!" she laughed and clung onto his arm to avoid her from falling.

For a split second, he tightened his grip on her with one arm and let go of his other hand making her lurch forward abruptly and causing her to shriek in fear. He laughed and pulled her back protectively into his arms. She clung onto him tightly with her eyes squeezed shut and he blushed a shade of scarlet at the skinship.

"Am I dead yet?" she asked and opened one eye.

"Nope. Very much alive," he laughed.

She slowly removed her arms from him with a little bit of reluctance. He felt empty and cold all of a sudden but ignored the feeling. As long as she's by his side, he's content.

"There you guys are! I've been looking everywhere for you both," a voice said and a male climbed onto the side of the car.

"Woohyun oppa!" _____ exclaimed happily.

"_____-ah!" he mimicked her name and ruffled her hair affectionately.

"What up, bro?" Taeyang greeted with a fake smile and bumped fists with him, secretly feeling a bit annoyed by his sudden appearance. He forgot that _____ had invited him too.

"Just came to find you both. Foods ready," he announced and pointed behind him with his thumb.

Flashback Two~

The sweet music of laughter filled the air as two children (or should we say ADULTS) sat close together playing an app on one of their iPhones. The two were playing an app where they would take a picture together and get to decorate it after. Imagine one of those Korean sticker booths only on an iPhone.

"Oppa~, don't draw that!" _____ laughed and tried to cover the screen with her hand.

"Ani, it's funny!" Taeyang exclaimed and drew a rainbow clown afro on her head on the picture along with a red round nose.

"Yah!" she yelled and shook her head but her serious facade was ruined when she exploded into a giggle fit. "Let me try."

Being the gentleman he was, he handed her the iPhone. He watched her contemplative face as she scrolled through the selection of pictures to choose from. The way her eyes narrowed and eyebrows furrowed together and the way her lips pursed together in thought. She still looked beautiful than ever. Taeyang had to keep himself from staring so long before he'd humiliate himself.

"Perfect! Now I'll just add something over here and a little something here...," she murmured to herself but the moment she lifted her finger of the screen, she clutched her stomach and covered her mouth with one hand to quiet her raging laughter. "DAEBAK!"

"Mwo? Let me see," he instructed and peeked at the screen. "Yah! ____ ____!"

She had drawn on him a curly mustache and large shibrows that threatened to compete with Siwon's from Super Junior. (AJ: All ELF's are familiar with Siwon's shibrows, neh? xD) She also drew on large girly earrings and long hair with heavy make up caked on his face.

"I shall name you, Tae Sun! Your female name~. It matches with you since your stage name 'Taeyang' means Sun," she giggled more.

"Yah!" he yelled but ended up laughing. He could never stay mad at her.

He took the phone from her hands, accidentally brushing his against hers sending electric shocks up his arm. He blushed but busied himself with the device in his hands. He scrolled through the photos when he stopped on a particular photo. It was a photo of him and _____ having one arm around each other making aegyo faces and peace signs. In neat blue writing under the pic, it read 'Youngbae and _____ ftw! We shall dominate the K-pop industry one day!'

Embarrassed, _____ took the phone back in her hands. "Youngbae oppa, promise me you'll never leave me? You're my best friend," she said and held out her pinky.

"Arasso...," he smiled and linked his pinky with hers.

The smile faintly left his lips when the all to familiar hands of one of her other guy friends covered her eyes from behind. Taeyang had to force himself to smile.

"Woohyun Oppa!" she smiled brightly and turned her attention away from Taeyang to the oppa behind her.

'And that's all I'll ever be. Your best friend...,' he thought bitterly.

Flashbacks End~

"Hyung, it's time," someone reminded him.

"Arasso. Gomowo," he thanked and stepped away from the piano and let someone else take over.

He fixed his tie and straightened his tuxedo as he made his way to the front seats of the chapel and sat, occasionally getting slaps of the back by his best friends who knew of his strong devotion for the bride. Any minute now, he had to witness the love of his life walk down the aisle. And that was what he did and stood up.

The doors at the front of the room opened up to reveal the beautiful bride in her wedding gown as white as snow and as beautiful as an angel. Her hair was up in a fancy but laid back updo and her white gloved hands held a beautiful bouquet of white lilies and roses. In one word to him, she was breathtaking.

She smiled brightly at her soon-to-be husband, revealing her perfectly straight and pearly white teeth at him. The groom was entranced by her beauty and smiled lovingly back at her. As the bridal music played on the piano, she slowly made her way to the alter. She stood next to her groom and beamed.

"Do you...... ______ ______, take him to be your loftily wedded husband, in sickness and in health, 'til death do you part?" the pastor asked warmly.

"I do," she smiled.

"Do you..... Dong Young Bae, take her to be your loftily wedded wife, in sickness and in health, 'til death do you part?" the pastor asked him with the same warm tone.

"I do," Taeyang replied with his signature eye smile.

"I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride," the pastor grinned.

Automatically, Taeyang pulled his bride to him and their lips met in a sweet and meaningful kiss. The whole wedding chapel erupted into cheers and flower petals were thrown over the newly weds. The soft petals hit against the silky fabric of _____'s wedding gown that he automatically loved on her. He'd never imagine this day would come for him. They started off as strangers, then friends, then best friends, and now he proudly called her his wife.

AJ: See what I did there? Kekeke~ If you haven't already noticed, I twisted the whole song around into a happy ending! Originally, the female would have gotten married to her other guy friend (just like in the MV) but being the thoughtful author I am, I thought that the reader deserved a happy ending with our hubby Taeyang. And viola~! This oneshot was born. Also, I had no idea who the other guy actor is so I settled with calling him Woohyun.
