Old friend

Coming out of the lunch room I notice one of my closest friends I haven't seen in a while.

"Hey Lucas!" I approached him with a grin.

"I haven't seen you in awhile." I said patting his back lightly. "How've you been?"

"Better." I smile bigger than before because he's doing better than last time. I've know Lukas for a long time since we go to youth group at church together, hearing him say he's doing better makes me so happy.

"What about you?" He asks as he lets me intertwine our arms together.

"I'm pretty good mason is being pretty annoying though." I then give him big puppy dog eyes. "Can you please tell him to back off before Levi sticks his foot up his ass?" I say as sweetly as I can.

"Sure, anything for you." He chuckles. We walk down the hall a bit before he tells me, " I have to get to mrs.halvorsen's but I'll see you tomorrow night." He gives me a side hug before taking off.

I head over to my fourth period which was now mr.graysons. When I get to the class room there are already a couple people there.

"Okay guys I need you to take out your notebooks and pens today we are taking notes on a film." He explained.

His gaze landed on me and made a finger motion for me to go up to his desk. I did as I was silently told.

"Yes?" I question while raising and eyebrow.

"You're coming to study after school right?" He asks looking up from his papers.

"Yeah as far as I know." I say.

"Good, we have a lot to discuss." He gives a smile and I nodded in response.

I head back to my seat and pay attention to the rest of the film. Class ended before the video was over and kids couldn't exit the room fast enough.
