Drunken ramblings and re-watchings of Supernatural beats writers block. 1-0 to Laura 😁

CHARLIE'S POV:

Everyone was ready to go and talk to Eliza, except me.
I don't know why...
Perhaps it was the new-found hunter in me or just the fact that this whole lot of information was given by a cute young girl who was not paying attention to me, but to Y/N. I don't know, but I backed out.
I reasoned with them that they were enough to go and talk to one girl. I told them I would stay in the car. Making up that I had a headache. Dean looked at me for a few seconds, I don't think he entirely believed me, but he agreed that they were enough to take on a vampire nest, let alone talk to one girl, so he brushed it off. He probably thought that it would be best; me staying behind. I mean, just look at them and think through the situation. Two hunters; brought up in the life since they were young, young kids and an ANGEL. Not me complimenting her, but a LITERAL ANGEL who must have done some dabbling in keeping people safe from monsters and whatnot. This is second nature to them, not me. Dean probably thought I just needed to step out for a bit, so that's what I did. I stepped out. I sat back in the car and opened up my tablet. They walked out of sight and before I knew it and, suddenly, everything went black.

Your POV:

The three of you walked into Eliza's place. Castiel had disappeared, apparently during the journey here, for some unknown emergency, but you quickly shook it off. It was usual of him to do this.
Eliza's home smelt fresh and welcoming, almost as though a young couple lived here. Not a young girl. You had braced yourself for the stench of cigarettes and alcohol, but received the absolute opposite.
This was not a young girl's home. You were sure of it, but, sure enough, there she was. A young girl opening the door to us. You heard no moving around in the rest of the house. It was just her.

"I'm guessing you're the guys Alycia told about me." She almost snarled. She didn't seem to enjoy guests off the bat. "Well, come in. Make yourselves comfy. Anything you want?" Her tone almost immediately changed in seconds, as though she had only needed a second to know all she wanted to know about you and then you were suddenly friends visiting from another state.

"Coffee would be great." Sam and Dean answered at the same time, then there was silence. You realised that she was waiting for your order.

"Same for me, please." You answered.

Eliza walked into her kitchen and within minutes was back with coffees and little pots of milk and sugar. You poured in however much you each required.

"So, these disappearances. What about 'em?" She queried, seeming to want to get this over with as quickly as possible.

Playing to her desires, you all spoke quickly through your 'plan' of catching kidnappers from a warehouse that was supposedly haunted and out she came, pouring information straight into your hands. You thanked her for her time and left. As you were walking down her path to the gate, another was walking up the very same path. A familiar face.

"Alycia! It's about time!" Eliza called from behind us.

Alycia gave a shy smile before being taken by the hand and led up the stairs before the door fully closed.

Well, that was something.
