Bewildered, you stood there, blinking in the disco lights as Charlie checked you over, making sure the man hadn't hurt you physically, when she was sure he hadn't, she held your shoulders and looked you in the eyes.
"Hey, are you OK?"Her voice fritzed about in your head, your brain trying to make sense of the words she was speaking. It took you a few seconds before nodding your head. She looked relieved and then said, "Maybe next time don't leave me at the bunker worrying that you'd run away or gotten yourself kidnapped or something. Next time bring me with you or answer your damn phone."
You realised that in your tipsy haze, you hadn't checked your phone once all night. You had left the bunker at 6:00pm and the time now... Was...
You checked your phone.
12:45am. You had been out for almost 7 hours.
You immediately felt guilty and began to apologise."I'm so sorry! I was just having such a nice time, that I didn't notice the time and I completely forgot about my phone, it's been on silent all night. I'm sorry I made you so worried..." You looked away shamefully.
"It wasn't just me worrying, the boys were, as well. They wanted to come out and search for you, too, but I told them that I would come and find you." You took this all in rather slowly as you stood there, unable to speak. You knew that they cared because they actually let you stay at the bunker, but you didn't think the boys and Charlie actually cared that much they the second they even thought something bad could have happened to you they would come running to find you. This made your heart swell and you had to fight back the urge to cry from the amount of care that you felt.
Since being human is still a new thing for you, you had never felt this way before, you were panicking a little at first, but you then quickly felt at ease. Looking into Charlie's eyes and knowing she was telling the truth made you feel as though you were flying and you didn't ever want to come down.
"So if the mood isn't completely ruined, would you like to stay a little longer and have a few more drinks?" Charlie's voice cut through your thoughts.
"I'd love that." You replied, a smile plastering on your face and spreading across your heart. "I'd love to spend the night out with you." And you really would. You spent the next 15 minutes in there, before they closed and you then moved onto a bar which would be open much later.
Three hours later you stumbled into the bunker, smiles on both yours and Charlie's faces and love In your heart. Though, you weren't sure how much love until you were stuck gleaming at Charlie, unable to communicate what you wanted to-
"There you are!!" You heard the brothers yell in unison. You didn't look away from Charlie for more than a few seconds.
"Hey, sorry I freaked you guys out for staying out like that.. Charlie found me in the end and we kinda stayed out a little longer..." You replied back, blushing a tad.
"Yeah, we now you did. Dirty stop-outs." You heard Dean say. You looked at him as if he just said a blasphemy, but then looked at the ground, knowing he was correct.
"Get to bed. You're gonna need sleep after drinking for such a long time." Sam then piped up.
"I definitely agree." you and Charlie answered simultaneously.
You both could feel the effects of the alcohol as well as how emotional tonight had been for you. You were exhausted.Charlie began to walk down the stairs and to her bedroom and you followed as the brothers dispersed to their own rooms for a few hours sleep. You stopped at Charlie's bedroom door and she spun around to look at you, giving you a soft smile.
"Thank you for tonight. What you said and did tonight meant a lot." You admitted shyly.
"Anytime. I'm glad I was able to make you feel better, to be honest." She answered, almost turning pink at the cheeks.
"Well, anyway, I guess I should get to bed. Else I'll never wake up for breakfast..."
"And you do love your breakfast." Charlie cut in. "You know you could sleep in here? Your bedroom is further away, so it would be easier to just stay here the night, so I can keep an eye on you if you're sick or anything." She almost seemed to be making excuses, but you ignored that fact and decided it may be a good idea to do that.
"Okay, that sounds reasonable enough and I'm honestly not in the mood to put up a fight." You laughed. Charlie then took your hand and led you into her bedroom, offering you a Star Wars shirt of hers to sleep in and then you both climbed into bed together. Trying to gain sleep and recovery from the night's events.
You were falling deeper into sleep but you didn't completely fall asleep before you felt fingers glide up and down your cheek and lips to your forehead."Oh, god. I'm so screwed, now." You heard the voice next to you whisper to herself. Then, every sound faded to peaceful silence as you slept soundly through the night.
