The night had past and it was now the midst of the morning. Birds were chirping and the sun shined brightly upon the camp. Everyone was working on either making food or the gate. Some kids ran around on the dirt and played tag with one another. Smiles were upon all of their faces.

Amara walked out of the Ark that was now on the ground and looked around. She held her stomach and squeezed her eyes closed when she felt the baby kick. Her pain was interrupted by a small child sitting on the ground letting out small cries. The brunette sighed shakily and walked over to the small girl who looked no older than five. The little girl held her knee before she looked up at Amara who squatted next to her.

"Hey, what's wrong? Are you okay?" Amara asked sweetly as the little girl wrapped her hand into Amara's.

"My knee. I was playing tag, and I--I fell and now my knee hurts. " The little girl told Amara sweetly.

"What's your name?" Amara asked as she looked at the girl's knee and noticed a small cut.

"Alaya Renee Cooper." Alaya looked up at Amara who was giving her a small smile.

"Well, Alaya, I'm Amara. You have a small cut on your knee. Will you stay here while I grab a bandage for you?" Alaya nodded her head and Amara went to medical for a bandage.

Amara rummaged through the drawers of the medical facility. She reached her hand into the top drawer and pulled out a small bandage. Her boots clanked against the floor was she walked out of the shop and to Alaya who sat there patiently.

"Here you go, Alaya. " Amara took the wrapped off of the bandage and gently kissed it. "There, now it won't hurt anymore. " She smiled and placed the bandage on Alaya's knee carefully.

"Thank you, Amara." Alaya wrapped her small arms around Amara's neck before she ran off to go play again.

"You always were good with kids. " A familiar voice said from behind Amara. She quickly turned around and saw the dark hair and eyed boy that she knew all too well.

"Carter James. " Amara said in disbelief with a small smile. Carter nodded his head and smiled before Amara wrapped her arms around him.

"I've missed you too, Mars. " Carter said as he let her go and looked down at her baby bump. "And apparently you like kids a lot more than I expected." Amara and Carter laughed in unison. "So who's the lucky fella?"

"That information is confidential, Mr. James." Amara turned her head to the side and teased him.

"I know it's not mine. We stopped dating when you got arrested. Bad choice, Mars. Bad choice. " Carter laughed.

"Yeah, definitely not yours. " Amara said as she folded her arms.

"Can I guess who it is?" Amara was getting ready to speak, but Carter started guessing. "Tall, dark, and handsome. His name starts with a Bell --and ends with an --amy. "
