One Year Earlier

"Finn, quick, ask me a question." Amara said as she paced the room.

Today was the day she took her medical exam to see if she could progress further with Abby.

"Mars, you've been over this a hundred times. You've got this." Finn groaned. "But, for good luck."

Finn reached into his pocket and pulled out a small silver necklace with a small golden bead as the main part. Amara took the necklace into her hands and looked at the necklace. She ran her hands over the name Finn that was carved into it. Her eyes lit up as she looked at her brother.

"For me?" Amara asked with a smile.

"Always." Finn smiled.

"And forever."

And to this day, Amara still had the necklace wrapped around her neck. Amara followed Finn to a small, hidden spot behind the ship and sat down in front of him and Murphy. She pulled her head back in disgust.

"What the hell are you doing here, Murphy?" Amara spat.

"Nice to see you too, Grace." Murphy gave her a sarcastic smile.

"Guess its true what they say. Cockroaches really can't just die." Amara said to him a serious voice.

"Stop it." Finn said as he stared into nothing.

"What's on your mind, Brother?" Amara asked as she bit her lip.

Finn stayed silent.

"Look, we kicked their asses last time. We'll do it again." Murphy told Finn.

"A lot of people died last time."

Finn's voice was hoarse as he spoke. Everyone looked to the side when they heard footsteps. Bellamy and Clarke came walking over together.

"We're reinforcing our defenses. Doubles on the perimeter. No one's getting past that wire." Bellamy told Finn who stood up and held a gun close to his side.

"I'll see where they're thin." Finn said boldly.

"No. You should head inside. B Corridor would be easier to defend, if it comes to that." Bellamy looked to Clarke who nodded her head.
