Amara hated quarantine

Amara hated quarantine. Nothing was wrong with her in the slightest bit. Cage wanted the baby, because, as he said, your baby is the face of our future. The baby girl was going to be ripped from Amara if she didn't have it within the next twenty-four hours. She was terrified. She needed Bellamy to act quickly. These next twenty-four hours were going to be crucial.

Amara sat there on the white bed in the white room with her arms resting on her stomach. She quickly stood and began to bang on the door.

"Cage! I know you hear me! Let me go, now! I swear to god I'll kill you--ah!" Amara groaned and bent over as a sharp pain erupted within her.

"Good. We are one step closer to saving this mountain." Cage said over a speaker.

Amara looked up at the camera above her with a pained, but evil look on her face.

"Burn in hell you psychotic bastard." Amara spat before another contraction began.

"We've been locked up for hours. If it was Bellamy--"

"It was Bellamy. I'm telling you. He's here. I'm not the only one who saw him." Jasper told Miller as they stood against the bunk beds.

"It doesn't make any sense." Monty said as he stepped in front of Jasper.

"I know what I saw. So does Amara. She came in here looking for him." Jasper said before an alarm beeped. "God, not again."

The giant metal doors opened and guards came in with their guns held up for defense. Lorelei stood behind them. All of the kids were pushed back to the back of the room in a small huddle. One of the guards grabbed Harper.

"No! No!" Monty yelled as he held onto Harper as the guards tried to take her.

"No, not her. She needs more time to recover." Lorelei looked over at a red-headed boy and pointed to him. "This one."

"Stop. You can't keep doing this to us." Lorelei looked back at Jasper and walked to him—almost face to face. "President Wallace said we could go."

"That President Wallace is no longer in command. He had to step down for health reasons. I'm sorry it has to be like this. I hope you know you're all incredibly special to us." Lorelei said before she walked out, the doors locking behind her.

"Ahh. Ooh." Amara groaned as she withered on the floor holding her stomach. "Just stay in there for a little bit longer, baby girl."

Amara pushed herself up, groaning as she did so. She placed her hand on the cold metal door and stood up. Her eyes landed on Dante in the other room.
