Autumns P.O.V

I felt someone jump on the bed, but I was too shattered to even bother about it,
"Wake up." I heard a familiar voice say, except, this voice is always loud, sassy and well... rude. But not this time it was quiet, full of care and had been whispered at me.

"Hmmm?" I said, my mouth and eyes shut tight.

"WAKE UP, YOU HAVE SCHOOL!" Now that's where I know the voice from, it was Lexi. I didn't move a muscle, my foot was still really sore.

Lexi sighed and ended up tickling me,
"LEXI STOP!" I panted, Lexi just continued, giggling away at my pain.

"I remember, when you where little this is how I always woke you up." She softly smiled, she stopped ticking me.

"Do you miss when I was little, when you where just a mother figure instead of a real mother to me?" I asked, she glared at me, her smile dropped, her walls where back up around her heart. She got up and went into the bathroom. I guess I should of kept my mouth shut.

"I'm not a mother, you ain't my daughter." She said coldly,

"But..."
"NO BUTS, YOU'VE GOT A MOTHER, A MOTHER WHO DIDN'T WANT YOU BECAUSE OF THESE PATHETIC DREAMS, SO FIND SOMEONE ELSE TO DO FILL THAT TITLE, CAUSE IM NOT." My eyes started to fill up on hot tears, I could hardly see where I was going, I walked over to the drawer and put on a pair of jeans and converse quickly. Lexi heard me and stood at the bathroom door, leaning against the door frame.

"Where do you think your going?" She scoffed,

"Don't talk to me." I put on my leather jacket and rushed out the door, I saw Alice talking to Dally just outside a open door leading to his room.

"Autumn, what's wrong?" Alice asked, Lexi rushed out about to grab me when I start to walk past Alice and Dally to the staircase

"Jesus Christ Autumn, you really need to learn to stop being so emotional." Lexi said,

"The last thing I would want to be is cold hearted with a wall around my heart, that's the difference between you two and me. But I get the boys." I said rudely, Dally started chuckling at my statement smirking at me. Lexi and Alice where red with rage,  I raced down stairs before I got a beaten from both of them.
I ran outside to see no one around, this place is dead when it's light, when it's dark, it's the most popular place in Tulsa.

I started to walk by myself, I didn't know where to go or where I was, so I decided to go to the Curtis house, I needed someone to talk to, maybe one of the boys will be there.

I get real lonely, the reason why I didn't want Lexi to leave me alone last night was because, I'm scared to be alone, that's why I flirt with so many guys because... if one leaves me, I'll never be alone because I have another guy waiting in line to fill the job.

I feel sad and depressed when I'm alone, I'm a chatterbox and when I'm alone, I have no one to talk to.

I heard faint footsteps getting louder and louder,
"Autumn?!" Dally shouted, I stopped so he could catch up with me,

"Why are you here?" I asked,
"Because, your a nice, lovely girl, y'all are, and I would hate to see you get jumped by a soc, you are alone with no weapons, your practically asking for it in their eyes."

"Well thanks." I smiled, we started to walk slowly to the Curtis house.

Dally opened the door and let me in first I walked into see Pony boy reading a book and Darry reading the newspapers.

They both looked up from what they where reading,
"Are you okay?" Darry asked, I walked in and sat next to them, I felt like if I said one word I was gonna cry a couple of buckets. I gulped fiddling around with my hands.
