"Hey y'all go to the cinema, I'll catch up with y'all soon." Dally said staring at a shiny pocket knife in a shop window.
"Or do you wanna help me?" he asked with an evil look on his face.
Lexi nodded rubbing her hands when I grabbed her arms and pulled her back.
"you boys can, me and Lexi will meet you at the cinema." we waved goodbye to the boys walking away,
"what the fuck Autumn?! I wanted to help!" Lexi practically screamed at me.
"First of all it looks too risky this time and if you get caught me and Alice will get put in a girls home but most importantly, they wont be there when Cherry and Marcia are there, we just gotta keep the boys far away from them and Two-bit. If Ponyboy doesn't talk to Cherry, then Bob and Randy wont go looking for him, then we don't have to worry anymore, the story will be finally changed." I explained,
"Good plan, come on lets go." Lexi said strutting her stuff walking down the street getting a couple of whistles from boys, while I'm jogging trying to stay beside her but failing...terribly
"go suck a bag of dicks all of ye!" she shouted,
"Lexi don't be so rude" I panted trying to get my breath back.
"And who is this?" the boys asked,
"Someone out of your league!" she argued,
"calm down sweet cheeks, why didn't you just tell us to leave." They said walking away,
"Lexi! he was cute." I moaned,
"yeah and also 4 years older than you, if you wanna be with Ponyboy..."
"I'll never be with him Lexi, he likes Cherry and I've got this weird thing going on with Jordan, it was just never meant to be." I continued on about different reasons why me and Ponyboy cant be together when she held my mouth.
"How are you supposed to get anywhere with THAT attitude?" she asked, "Autumn you're the most determined girl I know, why give up?" She asked me, I ignored her and sneaked under the fence into the cinema.
