I stormed my way back to the Curtis house, I can't believe Ponyboy would say all these things. I opened the door and walked in, "Where's Dally, Lexi and po...." "Don't say his name." I gritted my teeth,
"What happened?" Sodapop asked, "Ask him." I snapped back, "Johnnycakes?" "Yeah?" He asked, his eyes still glued to the T.V. "Do me a favour and give Ponyboy a smack on the head the next time you see him, I'm going back to Bucks." I walked out and made my way back to Bucks alone.
Lexi P.O.V
The rest of us finally got home after walking in silence. We came through the sun door when SMACK. "Owww , what the hell johnny!" Pony yelled from being a target to a smack on the head. "That's from Autumn!" Johnny smirked. "Where is that girl anyway?" I asked folding my arms. "Who gives a shit?" Ponyboy mumbled quietly. "I do you little bastard. She's went back home all by herself and is leaving because of you." I screamed. Soda rushed over to me and led me to the door. "Guys I think it's time to go to sleep," Darry said hinting. I smiled weakly at him and thanks and got a brief nod in return. Me and Soda sat on the porch bench cuddled into his blanket. "Baby?" He asked quietly as I just kept looking out into the night sky. "She really does love him. I know it, I see it. I just wish they would stop trying to make the other take the first move and express themselves." I huffed. Soda laid my head on his shoulder and played with my hair. "I know babygirl but they're young. Heck really young. It will come when it's time. All they need is a push." "Mm, I guess your right." I smiled and gave him a kiss. "I'm going to bed, coming ?" I shook my head. He left after the confirmation.
"Oh ponyboy Curtis, what have you done?"
Autumn P.O.V ... I woke up to an empty bed all by myself, I was stretched out like a starfish on the creaky old bed, I quickly jumped out of bed and switched the light on, quite embarrassing to say but when I'm alone I can't sleep in a dark room. I checked the time on Lexi's watch which she left here, 8:30am. I looked in the bathroom and in the hall, no sign of Lexi and Alice. "Where the hell are they?" I whispered to myself. Just as I said that Dally's door slowly creaked open showing Alice and Dally. "You two are disgusting!" I whispered, "What are you doing here at this time you're never an early person?!" Alice asked,
"Jordan's picking me up at the Curtis house at 10, and I need to get ready and pack. You two really did it when I was just next door?!" "Well you where asleep so..." Dally admitted, "I'm not even gonna question it." I sighed walking back into the room. Alice helped me pack all my things and even did my hair for me while I was doing my make up and picked an outfit. "Autumn this one is perfect you really suit yellow." Alice said giving me a yellow dress.

I walked over to the Curtis house with Dally and Alice, Two-bit and Steve where on the floor with a piece of chocolate cake and a beer. Johnny was sitting next to him with his eyes glued to the T.V. Ponyboy was in the kitchen trying his best to avoid me. Darry was on the couch reading the newspapers. "Guys..." I got interrupted by the bathroom door opening showing a wet Sodapop and Lexi. "YUCK!" I shouted at them in disgust. "Aw Autumn you look so grown up." Lexi said completely ignoring what I just said. She rushed over and gave me a big hug, "I'm gonna miss having to take care of you." She said, I started to tear up, I broke the hug and wiped away my tears without ruining my make-up.
"I'm gonna miss you to." I sniffled, "I'm gonna miss all you guys, I feel like I'm leaving my family behind." I cried all the boys hugged my one by one except Ponyboy, he was just glaring at all of us. "Well are you just gonna stand there or are we gonna say goodbye to each other?" I asked, "Well bye." He rudely replied,
"You know what Ponyboy Curtis, you've hurt me more than any boy possibly could, cause I liked you more than any boy, send me a letter or something when you've stopped being this moody but if you're still gonna be like this, don't bother." I got my bags and looked out the window.
"Well there's Jordan." I announced, Lexi and Alice looked like they were gonna explode if they let me leave. "Are you two okay?" I asked them, "DON'T GO!" Alice sobbed hugging me one last time. "I'm sorry, but I need to." I had one look at my family that I grew to fight with nonstop but still love, then I got in the car and left.
