Emily's POV
Today's the first day training with Hal. I still think this is a bad idea.
"You ready Emily?" Hal asked.
"GO!"
~a week later~
Hal, Dad, and I are sitting on the bench in the park.
"Are you ready to fight Megamind, Tighten?" My Dad asked.
"Yup." Hal answered proudly.
"Do you have an admire Hal." My dad asked.
"I have 2 actually. I don't know which one to pick." He answered.
"Tough one there." My dad replied.
"Who wants cheeros?" Uncle Minion asked handing us cheeros.
~the next day~
I put my hair in ponytail and grab my phone.
"Dad I'm gonna go steal that diamond necklace I want!"
"Okay Emily but hurry back! We have a battle with Tighten at 6!" My dad yelled.
I smirk, "Can I drive the invisible car?"
"NO!" He yelled.
I chuckle and run off. I look around to see everyone enjoying life.
Brothers with sisters. . .
Boyfriends with girlfriends. . .
Dads with sons. . .
And mothers with daughters. . .
I have that stupid feeling again. Why? I'm suddenly picked up by someone flying in the air.
"Hey let me go!" I yelled.
"Relax Emily. It's me, Tighten." He replied.
"Tighten? What do you want with me?"
"To love you my sweet blossom." He answered.
"No! Put me down!" I demanded.
"No way! I'm not letting you get away from me Emily!" He replied.
"Over my dead body!" I yelled then biting him.
He drops me and I land on my feet and ran behind a building.
"Come on Emmy. Roxanne rejected me. Don't tell me you're rejecting me too." He called.
My heart rate was rising with fear. I turn on my walkie talkie.
"Dad, grab your gear. We may have to battle Tighten a little early." I said.
No answer.
"Dad? Dad!? DAD!"
