Chapter 7 -

My jaw dropped. I'm dating Josh Hutcherson! Oh my goodness!

"Megan is gonna freak!" I exclaimed.

"No. She's not. The thing is...you can't tell anybody, Caitlyn. Not anyone. Not even your best friend," Jake stated.

"Oh, I see." I replied.

"Yah. Caitlyn, again, I'm sorry. Honestly, I thought you knew who I was," he apologized.

"I didn't. I thought you looked familiar. So, what's gonna happen now?" I asked.

"What do you mean?" he questioned.

"What's gonna happen to us?" I started crying.

Jake grabbed me and pulled me to his chest. He hugged me tightly rocking me back and forth while I got tears all over his shirt.

"Caitlyn, don't cry. Nothing is gonna happen to us. Nothing will change," he started.

"What about you? You have to go back to LA. You have movies to film. Besides, I know we were just together for paparazzi..." I stated.

"Sure, I have movies to film, but I will never leave you, Caitlyn. We weren't just together for paparazzi. I saw a beautiful girl in a hat store, and I took a chance. I won't ever leave you, I promise." he looked down at me and smiled.

"Why did you come to my store, anyways?" I sat up and looked back at him.

"I needed a disguise. I wanted to have a normal life for once. At least...for a while..." Jake replied.

"Jake. I mean Josh, isn't your hair actually brown?" I tilted my head up at him.

"Yah. They make me dye my hair for the movie..." he answered.

"Oh. When do you have to go back to LA?" I asked.

"I'm leaving in 2 days..." Jake trailed off.

I jumped up, angry.

"2 days!? Are you serious? You came here, made me fall for you, and now you are leaving me?" I shouted.

"Caitlyn, I'm sorry. I didn't know this would happen. I fell for you too. I don't want to leave you," he promised.

"Jake. Josh. Whoever you are. Why didn't you tell me the truth?" I screamed again.

He stepped towards me and tried to reach out to me.

"Jake is fine. I thought you knew. I'm so sorry, Caitlyn. I'm still the same guy you know. Jake is just a nickname. Just like, Josh." I stepped back away from him.

"How can I trust you? Don't you have some Hollywood girlfriend to get back to?" I asked accusingly.

"No. You're the only girl I'm with. You're just gonna have to give me another chance," his eyes looked pitiful and sad.

"I don't know if I can trust you anymore, Jake. One minute, you're a customer. The next, your kissing me. Now, you aren't even the same guy," I went over to the couch and sat down.

"Fate brought me to you, and you're just gonna have to let fate take you wherever it likes. I'm still the same guy," he sat down on the opposite end of the couch.

"I don't know. You're gonna have to let me think about it..." I calmed down a bit.

"Okay. Take all of the time you need, but remember I'm leaving in 2 days..." Jake got up from the couch and walked towards the door.

"How could I forget?" I asked.

"Goodbye, Caitlyn," Jake walked out the door and he was gone.
