I would be lying if I said I was paying attention during the class. The voices were screaming too loud. Of course they put me in the seat directly beside Veronica.

I dug my fingers into the desk as I struggled not to attack her. Ryan was behind me and the rythmic tapping of his pen against the desk was driving me mad. I closed my eyes and tried to clear my mind.

He kicked the back of my chair and I suppressed a growl. I looked up and saw the teacher looking at me. "Do you know the answer Mandy?" Oh yeah. And I needed to remember to kill Ryan for telling them my name was Mandy.

"Tell her to get to fuck" One of the voices laughed. I ran my hands through my hair. Bloody Viktor. Yes, my voices have names. Some of them anyway.v

"To what miss?" I asked as sweetly as I could.

"The formula to find the area of a circle? What this entire lesson has been a recap of?" The woman smirked and another voice popped up.

"Stupid bitch. If only she knew" Brian laughed.

I bit my lip not to laugh "No miss. I haven't a clue"

She frowned "You need to pay attention if you want to learn anything Mandy"

I shrugged "But I don't really care if I learn anything. That's not why I'm here"

"Why are you here then Mandy?" The teacher sighed.

I laughed "Wouldn't you like to know"

I could hear another tapping. Different to Ryan's pen. My eyes trailed to the window and I saw a crow pecking at the window. I frowned at it.

It stared at me and began pecking again. It had drawn the class's attention and I glared at him. "Not now" I muttered. It cawed loudly and I stood up. "Fine. I'm coming"

I left the class and walked outside. The crow landed on the bench infront of me and shifted. "Original" I folded my arms and stared at the man that now sat before me. He had messy blonde hair and wore black clothes. The traditional attire of hell. "Why'd you get let out your cage?"

He smirked "Lucifer wants to talk to you"

"Get to fuck Crow. He left me here years ago without a word" I waved my hand at him.

He grinned as if he knew something I didn't "He says that you know how to reach him"

"How about. He promises to show his face and I'll go" I grinned. I was in hell for over a century and never saw his face once.

Crow smiled "I believe that's why he wishes you to go. Believe it or not, he does care for you. In a way you wouldn't think" I raised an eyebrow at him. "I've been watching you. Got over me so quickly?"

I grinned "I wouldn't call it that. Have you got over me? Missed me?"

He grinned "Without you, I'm left to rot in a cage"

"I need to get back to class" I smiled. "See ya Crow"

I sat in Ryan's room after school. "Why haven't you killed Veronica yet? You killed Jeremy straight away" he asked me.

I sighed "She's an angel. Fallen or not. They're smart and strong. Children of heaven. Desendents of God. I'm a demon. Lost child picked off the street" I fell back "I need to think it through"

Ryan sighed "I'm sorry"

I frowned "For what?"

"You have such a complicated life. It's a shame. You're still a kid, only 16" he sounded sad.

"I've been 16 for well over a century. In hell you go to a prime age. For humans it's your teens. So I went from 9 to 16 overnight and stayed there. My body just caught up. I'll age now" I shrugged "It's strange. I can't remember ageing"

He laughed "You're cute when you're confused"

"I'm not cute" I growled. I shifted into my other form and crawled up the bed towards him. He never tensed up as I expected him to. I leaned over him and frowned. "Why aren't you scared anymore?"

He laughed again. A sound that made my heart do that thing again. "I think I scare you more" he chuckled.

I bared my teeth at him. "You don't scare me" My hand went to his throat and my claws bit into his skin, drawing blood.

"Kill me then" He smirked. I froze. Reverting back to normal, I stared down at him. At his bloodied neck.

"No" I said finally.

He grinned "I knew you wouldn't. I'm not scared because I trust you. Feel safe around you"

I sighed and fell against his chest, listening to his steady heartbeat. "You shouldn't. Its not good for your health"

His hand went to my hair and shivers ran down my spine. I purred and buried into his chest. He laughed "I don't care"

I looked up at him. "I need to do something"

He smiled "Shoot"

"I need you to kill me" I smiled innocently.
