"What?" I said annoyed. Ryan had just stared at me for nearly 20 minutes whilst I ate his heavenly cookies.

"What's so bad about becoming an angel?" He said finally.

I groaned "For starters, there is loads of rules. Don't kill. Don't steal. Don't lie ecetera ecetera"

He chuckled "You should join a club. At the school I mean"

"How did that idea come to you?" I laughed "Anyway. Can you imagine me at something like chess club?"

"What about cheerleading?" He said grinning.

I glared at him. "No"

"Why?"

"'Cause I fucking said so"

"I can't believe you're making me do this" I groaned.

"You'll be fine" He chuckled.

"Have you seen the uniform I have to wear!"

"When we met you were dressed as a girl scout"

"Oh yeah"

"Just try to get along with them" he patted my shoulder "I have training"

He ran off and I sighed. The cheerleader outfit I wore annoyed me and I'd barely had it on 10 minutes. My stomach rumbled and I sighed. Victor and Brian didn't have anything to say either.

I walked into the hall and saw everyone stretching. Shit these girls could bend. I looked down at my own body that was as flexible as a wooden board. This wouldn't go well.

I walked closer and a girl spotted me. "New girl!" She called out as she ran over "What's your name"

"Trouble" I said to her. "For the moment"

She giggled "You seem like fun Trouble. I'm Maia"

She had waist length black hair that hung poker straight down her dark skinned back. She had massive blue eyes and and big smile. "You'll be replacing Veronica since she left" she said and I bit my tongue.

"Ok" I said before I ruined it.

She grinned and pulled me over to the rest of the group. She started introducing me to the rest of the team but I realised. I could see the boys playing football through the glass door.

"Trouble? You coming?" Maia said nudging me. I shook my head.

"Where? Sorry, I got distracted" I smiled.

"Outside. To practice?" A girl smirked. She had short brown hair cut to her chin and a nose ring that I really wanted to rip out right now.

I faked a smile "Sure. What's your name? I never caught it" she nver answered me "Or I could always call you Bitch #1"

Maia snorted and I grinned. The girl's jaw twitched "Allison" she said. "Let's go.

I watched Allison go and followed behind her. A few minutes later and I was sitting on the grass feeling utterly left out. I couldn't even reach my fucking toes. I groaned and turned my attention back to Ryan. He was really bad still.

"What you up to?" A voice said and I let out a small scream.

"Fuck! Crow!" I screamed and hit his legs. He chuckled and I stood up. "Could have warned me"

"Where's the fun in that?" He smiled.

I heard a laugh and turned to see Allison staring "Cute boyfriend"

"He's not my boyfriend Addison" I snapped.

Crow out his hand on his heart in fake offense. "Harsh"

"My name's Allison" she hissed.

"I don't give a shit" I smiled at her and turned back to Crow. "What do you want?"

"Can I not check on my ex?" He asked.

"No" I shook my head. "You can't"

"Why are you so pissed?" He asked and touched my face. I slapped his hand away and he growled.

I sighed "I'm not as flexible as them" I said quietly.

He chuckled "Give me your foot" he said and I stared at him. "Foot" he said again. I kicked up and he caught my foot and pushed it above my head. I waited for the ripping pain but it never came.

"Since when could I do that!" I shouted and stared at my foot.

Crow frowned "Always. You just never had a purpose for having your foot this high before"

"Can you put it down?" I asked as he was still gripping my ankle. He nodded dropped my foot. I looked over his shoulder to see Ryan get hit in the face with the football. I winced for him as he dropped to the ground. Some guy ran over and kicked him, gently at first. Then, not so much.

I growled "Back in a minute Crow" I said and started running. I reached the pitch and picked up a rock. I threw it and it hit the big guy's back. He turned and I grinned. I threw another rock and he growled. I sniffed the air. Werewolf. "Let's play fetch!" I said quietly, knowing he could hear me "Come catch the demon" and then I ran.

I could hear him coming after me as I sprinted up bleachers and jumped down the other side. I dashed back onto the pitch and past the cheerleaders. As the wolf followed I heard Allison scream after him.

I smiled and rolled, spinning to face him. We were behind bleachers and unseen. The sound of his heartbeat made my stomach rumble. "I'm really hungry big guy. And you smell delicious"

My mouth watered as I stared into his black eyes. "Come get me then" I jumped and he rolled on top of me, just as the headteacher came around the corner...
