T H I R T E E N

"What if I eat someone?" He asked nervously. "What if I kill someone?"

I giggled "You won't. And you've killed before what does it matter now?"

"That wasn't infront of hundreds of teenagers" he sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose. "What if I get hungry?"

"Shut up" I said laughing "You'll be fine. If you get hungry just say. Whatever you do. Do not bite me"

He nodded "Got it" he groaned. "This won't end well"

I shrugged "Oh well"

We sat beside eachother in class. I think it was religious education. Ryan was extremely uncomfortable with the crosses surrounding the room. I looked over at him "Are you religious?"

"I was. You know, until I killed an angel and was condemned to hell" He chuckled quietly.

"Understandable" I grinned and sat back. The door opened and more students came in. I groaned quietly as I recognised them. That angel from the party, Maia and Crow. Crow caught my eye and smirked.

He sat down at the other side of me and frowned at Ryan. "Vampire?" He asked, louder than he should of.

"Shut the fuck up" I hissed. "The fuck are you doing here?"

"I'm here to learn. What about you?" He still had that smirk on his face.

The door opened again and I stood up. "No" I said staring at the teacher. "Not happening" I started walking down towards the door and the teacher reached out and spun me around.

"Lauren. Seat now" Lucifer grinned. I growled at him and stormed back to my seat. "So, I'm Mr Morningstar. You're new RE teacher and headteacher. I'm also Lauren's dad"

I frowned. Headteacher? He smirked at me and I saw the angel tense a few rows infront. "Today I thought we'd start with a little bit of history. You might have noticed that I share myself and Lauren last name with Lucifer. This is merely a coincidence but always a good conversation starter. Does anyone know anything of Lucifer?"

One girl put her hand up. "He was an angel but left heaven to become the prince of darkness in Hell"

Lucifer smiled "Does anyone know why he left?"

Another boy out his hand up "Was it because he was banished?"

Lucifer frowned "That's what they tell you. Lucifer fell in love with a human woman. He watched her as she went about her day every day and grew attatched. He would beg his father to let him go down to heaven and see her in person but his father refused. So he watched her and awaited the day they would meet in heaven. Until she killed a man. The woman he fell in love with was not a good person. She was cold blooded and ruthless. She killed farmers and stole their money and land" he sighed.

"One day. She fell. The rocks beneath her crumbled and she slipped into a ravine to her death. Lucifer realised that this woman would not meet him in heaven for she did not deserve it. So he left heaven and went to hell. He met his true love and they fell in love. He freed her from the torture and they ruled together. She craved life once more and Lucifer could not refuse his queen so he gave her life. Back in earth, she left him. Wreaked havoc on earth and he had to end what he had created. His heart turned to stone as he locked her soul away somwhere she could never escape. It was centuries before he ever loved again" he finished his story and silence swept over the class. Even I couldn't find the words.
