I sat in the headteacher's office with my arms folded. The guy was surprisingly young and had a frown set on his face. "We called your parents" he said finally.
"No!" Wolfie shouted. "They'll make me go to summer school again!"
I laughed "Good luck getting ahold of mine"
The headmaster smiled "He's outside"
I frowned and turned as the door opened. Just as the headmaster had said, Lucifer walked in. He smirked at me and I groaned. "Hey love" he said in a sickly sweet voice and I glared at him.
He sat down beside me and scowled at Wolfie. "Mandy and Steven got in a fight today Mr Morningstar" the headteacher said folding his arms.
Lucifer chuckled "Who won? Please tell me it was you" he looked at me. I smiled and the headteacher coughed. "Mandy? Who came up with that?" Lucifer added.
The headteacher raised an eyebrow "That's not her name?"
"Fuck no. It's Lauren" Lucifer smiled.
I looked at him "It is?"
He frowned "Of course it is. What the hell did Crow call you?"
"Nothing. Nicknames" I shrugged. "Lauren Morningstar" I tested it out. "Not bad"
The headteacher shook his head. My stomach rumbled and Lucifer chucked something on my knee. I looked down and saw something wrapped in tin foil. "Lunch" he said.
I grinned and the headteacher coughed "I'm here to tell you that your daughter has been suspended"
What? But I was finally doing alright. "Ok. Come on Trouble. Let's go home" Lucifer said and pulled me out of the room.
I shook him off and scowled "Why are you here" I hissed.
"The school called. I am your dad after all" he grinned. "Come on. We have to get settled in"
"Where?" I called after him.
"Home" he shrugged. "Meet me outside in 10"
