Allison's P.O.V
The rain was very heavy outside. Weather reporters were warning everyone to keep since there is a possibility of a coming storm. I slip on a thick knitted sweater and rubbed my hands together to keep myself warm. The only things keeping me warm are my clothes and the not-so-working-well heater.
Kevin was supposed to fly back to Detroit today but all flights were cancelled due to the bad weather. He was really pissed and drove out to a bar somewhere. Tsk boys.
I took of the duvet off my bed and wrapped the huge fluffy blanket all over me. Call me weird, I don't care. I struggled as I walked out of my room. The heavy cloth that's draped on me is making me walk like an obese penguin.
As I was on the top of the stairwell. the doorbell rang and Chim came running out of nowhere and ran past my feet making me jump and lose my balance. I screamed as I fell and tumbled down the stairs. I grunted as I land and roll over each step.
When I reached the foot of the stairs, I rolled and crashed on the wall. I groaned as my head started spinning and I slowly became nausious. "What the hell" I muttered and squirmed inside the duvet. It wrapped me from head-to-toe. I can imagine myself looking like a shawarma roll right now.
As soon as I finally freed myself, I sat on the floor with my head in my hands. I am really thankful of the duvet though. I would've been badly bruised without it's aid. I quickly stood up when I remembered that someone might be waiting outside under the heavy rain.
I yanked open the door and saw a guy waiting outside the gates. I squinted my eyes to make out his features but the rain was too heavy for me to see clearly. I grabbed an umbrella and ran towards the gate. The gate is kinda far from the house. Maybe like a room away.
The closer I got, the clearer the person was. I stopped dead on my tracks as I recognized the guy.
"Lucas?" I called out in confusion. He slowly turned around and weakly smiled at me. "H-Hey A-Allison." He was shivering badly and clothes were soaked and he really looked pale.
"Oh God, Lucas. Please come in. I am really sorry." I blabbered and quickly opened the gates and held the umbrella over us. I held him close to me just to atleast share my body heat with him.
I sat him on a plastic stool and quickly grabbed the duvet that was left lying on the floor. I draped it all over him and rushed to the kitchen. I reheated the remaining hot chocolate that I drank this morning and gave him a cup. I went to bathroom to get a spare towel and took some of Kevin's clothes.
I came back panting and stressed out. I handed him the stuff and he smiled at me. "You can change first." I told him and pointed to the bathroom.
I was sat comfortably on the couch as I dried myself with a towel. A few minutes later, I heard a deep-throaty cough from behind which made me turn around. My eyes met a pair of piercing blue ones that made me want to melt right then and there.
"Hey" He started clamly and sat beside me. Providing a good amount of space between us. I let out a shaky breath and replied, "Hey. What brings you here?" He ruffled his wet hair and looked at me. "Uh... I forgot to ask you something yesterday. You know, for our Bio project?"
Yesterday during Bio, we got paired together for a week-long project. "Oh that. By the way, I'm really sorry for making you wait outside. I got into an 'accident'." I blushed as I recalled what happened earlier.
"Oh that's fine. It's just rain." He laughed.

The rest of the afternoon went by a blur. We talked about the project and stuff. We finished around 4 in the afternoon until he had to go home to watch over his 6 year old sister. Knowing about the bad weather condition and the terrible cold outside, I hesitantly gave him a ride home.
"You don't have to Al." He pleaded. He can't walk under the rain after getting soaked earlier this afternoon. Especially not in a weather like this. "But I want to." I smirked at him and he sighed in defeat.
I grabbed my coat and keys. I lead the way to the other side of the house which has a door that leads to the garage. I heard Lucas suck in a breath when the lights in the garage turned on and showed our vehicles.
My mom's Mercedes, dad's Ford Mustang and BMW, Kevin's Hurley Davidson Motorbike and my Chevy Camaro. Yes, we have a huge garage and yes, we own all these.
I slid inside my car to be followed by Lucas. He still has this amazed look on his face that made me chuckle quietly. "Wow. You're family is loaded." He turned to me and I just shrugged my shoulders at him.
"Just don't tell anyone about this Luc." I asked him in a pleading voice. "About all this?" He said while looking around. "Yeah. I can't risk anyone else knowing." I turned on the engine and it roared to life. "Why, aren't you proud?" He asked.
"I am. Just don't, no else knows about this." I said in the coldest voice I could muster. He sighed and leaned his head on the headrest. I drove out of our property and journeyed under the heavy rain.

Just to tell you -readers- that, I will not be writing very long chapters. It makes me tired and I sometimes run out of ideas. Thanks for reading anyway :))
