Lucas' P.O.V

"- yeah I have also taken some interest in photography." I added as we talked about our hobbies. I continued stroking her hair.

I shifted and looked at her since I didn't get any response. Not even a nod. She fell asleep. Am I that boring? I wrapped my arms around her and pulled her closer to me as the cold breeze wafted through us.

I closed my eyes and breathed in the cold winter air. Allison's steady breathing and quiet whimpers sending me to sleep.

Allison was shivering and that woke me up. Her teeth were chattering and she was slightly shaking. There was was white powder gathered in her hair. That's when realization hit me like a truck.

"Shit it's snowing!"

I shot up and gathered all our things and dumping it in the back room of the studio. Im gonna have to deal with dad finding that mess. I ran back upstairs and scooped up Allison in my arms.

I kicked the blankets and pillows to the side and went down the spiral staircase. After turning off the lights and making sure the door is locked, I gently buckled Allison in the passenger seat. I ran to the driver's side and got in. After turning on the engine and the heater we were good to go.

I looked at the time and my eyes widened. It's already past one in the morning. I stepped on the accelerator and once again driving beyond speed limit.

About half an hour later, we were driving past the sleeping city. I entered their sudvision and drove to their house.

I pulled over outside their huge ass gates and turned off the ignition. I looked over at their house and sighed in relief when there was no lights in any of the rooms.

I stepped out of the cold streets and walked over to Allison's side. I unbuckled her and scooped her up. I pushed the gate open with my leg and walked across the dimly lit stone pathway.

I twisted the door knob which they left unlocked. They must have known that she's out late.

When I entered the house, I sighed when it was also dimly lit inside that means i wouldn't have to find the light switch. I wiped my shoes on the doormat and headed for the grand stairs.

I squinted my eyes at the dimly lit hallway in the second floor. As quietly as I can, I walked around in search of her room. I stopped infront of a room with an 'A' on the door. I figured it would be hers. And I was right.

After turning on the light, I layed her on her bed and took off her boots. I tucked her in and wiped some snow off her hair.

I breathed out in exhaustion. Even with her petite frame she was quite heavy.

I placed her purse on the nightstand and looked at her. She looks really young when she's asleep. I tucked away some strands of her hair and lightly stroked her porcelain like face. Realizing what im doing, I quickly retrieved my hand.

What the hell Lucas? I mentally scolded myself.

As I was about to leave when I heard her mumble something in her sleep.

"Please stay."

I turned around and bent down. Giving her a kiss on the forehead.

"I'm sorry babe, I can't."

I walked towards the door and stepped out. As I was closing the door quietly, a deep voice behind me boomed, making me jump in surprise.

"Who are you?!"

I turned around to see a tall and lean man, fury burning in his eyes. He must be Al's father. I immediately shot my arms up in surrender. Don't ask why.

"Hello sir, I'm Lucas Clark. Allison's friend." I stammered.

He visibly relaxed as I introduced myself formally but still narrowed his eyes at me.

"What were you doing in her room at one in the morning?" He crossed his arms.

"Sir, we were hanging out today and I took her to my father's studio and lost track of time. She fell asleep on the drive home. I appologise for our lack of responsibility Mr. Brinley. I assure you it won't happen again." I choked out in one breath.

"This better not happen again, son." He huffed but I can tell that he feels better about the situation.

"Frank? Who are you talking to?" A feminine voice asked and I heard a door quietly shut. A woman probably in her late thirties approached us and stood beside his husband.

"Hello ma'am, I'm Lucas. Allison's friend." I reached out to shake her hand and she smiled warmly.

"Oh please call me Marie. What are you doing here so late?" She rose an eyebrow at me. I opened my mouth to explain but her husband beat me to it. He explained what he knew and I stood infront of them scratching the back of my neck. Awkward.

"Thank you for bringing her home safely, dear." Marie said as I try to muster a small smile under her husband's antagonizing stare. She noticed how uncomfortable I am and elbowed the man beisde him.

"Stop being rude and thank him." She hissed. He muttered a quiet 'thank you' and walked back to their room.

"Im sorry about Frank, he can be really protective." She laughed.

"It's alright, he has the right to be anyway.Thank you but I should really be going now." I smiled,

"Oh darling I can't let you drive in this weather! There's a blizzard. Please stay the night. We have an extra guest room." She pointed to the door at the end of the hall.

i opened my mouth to reject the offer but she cut me off. As if knowing what I was going to say. Moms.

"Not a chance. Now get your things from your car and settle yourself in your room. I'll be expecting you during breakfast. Good night." She smiled and headed towards their room.

"Thank you ma'am... I mean, Marie." I scratched the back of my head. She nodded at me and went inside her room.

"Well, this was unexpected." I muttered under my breath and went down to grab my things and finally get some sleep.

Allison's P.O.V

"Allison wake up now, honey." Mom tried to shake me awake but I groaned and rolled over to the other side. I burried my head into the pillow and pulled the covers over me.

"I'll give your toasts and bacon to Chim if you don't get up." She threatened.

I goaned and abruptly sat up. I glared at her and she just walked out of my room with a smirk.

I pushed myself up off the bed and dragged myself to the bathroom. I almost shrieked when I saw my own reflection. My clothes from yesterday are all wrinkled up. My hair is in a horrible mess.

Wait how in the hell did I get home? I shook my head and decided I would figure that out later on.

I took off my clothes and jumped in the warm shower.

After drying myself, I walked out of the bathroom and headed towards my closet. I grabbed a pair of denim jeans and a plain black knitted sweater. I slipped on my gray uggs and got out.

On the top of the staircase, I could hear my father's booming laughter from the dining area. When I reached the kitchen, mom was cooking the last batch of bacon. I was about to ask why she was cooking more but then I remembered that the Dallas family is still here until next weekend.

"Go join your father in the dining, honey." My mother pointed to the the other side.

I sneaked a piece of bacon as I make my way to my dad who was having a fun conversation with someone.

When the person came into view I stopped dead on my tracks.

"Oh good morning sweetie! Why haven't you told me about Lucas before? I didn't know you were friends with our advertisers' son!"

That's when I choked. Big time.
