Allison's P.O.V
I woke up to my phone ringing. I grumbled before grabbing it from the night stand. My phone's brightness blinded me for a few seconds before my eyes adjusted.
Lucas was calling. I slid my finger on the screen to answer the call.
"What the heck Lucas. It's freaking seven in the morning!" I groaned.
"Good morning to you too sleepyhead." He laughed, sounding too cheery for a morning.
"What do you want?" I groaned again.
"You sound like a living corpse. Anyway, don't WE have somewhere to be in an hour?" I tried to remember but its too early to think.
"Uh, no?"
"Okay grandma, I'll pick you up in less than an hour so you better get your ass up from bed." I rolled my eyes and told him okay. He then hang up.
I took a shower and threw on a pair of gray leggings, a thick knitted sweater and a white circle scarf. It's getting pretty chilly here. I slip on my old pair of black combat boots and fixed my hair. I just combed it down to let it dry naturally. I applied lip balm and walked out of my room.
I looked at my watch and there's still 15 minutes to spare. I sat down in the kitchen and made myself a toast and a cup of tea.
As I was peacefuly eating my breakfast, Cameron walked in the kitchen shirtless. I frowned at him and cleaned my dishes.
"Good morning Allison." He chirped and opened the fridge and took out a bottle of water.
"Morning Cameron." I greeted monotonously.
"You're up early, where are you going?" He asked as he leaned against the marble counter-top.
"Somewhere."
"Oh someone woke up at the wrong side of the bed this morning." He coo'ed as he brushed past me.
Lucas' white Maserati pulled over in front of the gates and honked. I went back to the kitchen to brush my teeth quickly. I scanned the counter-top and realized that something was missing.
"Where is my p-"
"Looking for this?" I turned around and found Cameron holding my purse.
"Give that back to me, you twerp!" I rushed towards him and attempted to grab it from him but he took advantage of my short height and held my purse high. I came face-to-face with a wall of abs.
I stomped on his foot. The hard sole of my combat boots colliding with his bare ones. He groaned in pain and quickly crouched down to feel his foot. I quickly grabbed my purse from him.
"Next time, don't mess with my stuff." I stuck my tongue out at him and walked out of the house. I ran to the gates and hopped inside Lucas' car. He looks irritated.
"You're late." He murmured.
"Sorry, someone was bothering me." I sighed and ran my fingers through my hair.
"And who might that be?" He turned to me with a glint of amusement dancing in his eyes.
"There's a family staying over during winter break and the son was left to stay and he annoys me a lot. He's Camer-"
"Cameron Dallas" He sneered while looking directly in our house. I looked and saw a smirking, still shirtless Cameron leaning on the doorway.
"Wait. You know him?" I asked him.
"Let's just go." He said in an icy voice.
And we did, we sped off to wherever he is taking me above speed limit.

Lucas brought me to the local cemetery. And I am beyond terrified.
One little fact: I am scared of cemeteries because of some zombie movie I watched when I was younger and when Kevin dressed up as a zombie during halloween and chased me around the cemetery. I was traumatized.
He turned to one corner and finally killed the engine. He unbuckled his seatbelt and looked over at me. I was stiff as a rock and I was shaking but I was trying to hide it.
"Are you alright love?" He eyed me carefuly.
"Y-yeah." I stammered and forced a small smile.
"No you're not." He shook his head and hopped out of the car. He went over to my side and and opened the door. He knelt beside me and held both of my hands.
"What's wrong Al?" He rubbed the top of my hands with his thumb. Trying to comfort me.
"Nothing Luc. Nothing." I looked down at our hands.
"You're stuttering, shaking and sweating. That is not nothing." He held my chin and lifted up my head.
"I'm scared." I whispered getting teary eyed.
"You'll be fine. I'm right here. I can be your superhuman you know." He winked and helped me up. I got out of the car and looked around the cemetery.
The wind blew past us making me shiver and scoot closer to Lucas. He smiled at me and slung an arm over my shoulders and gave me a tight squeeze. We walked past graves until we stopped at a particular one.
Mae Clark
2003-2007
"Is she your little sister?" I quietly asked.
"Yeah, she died when she was 4." He smiled sadly and gave me a light squeeze. I was about to ask why but he beat me to it.
"It was her 4th birthday party and when she was left alone, she went out of the restaurant and walked down the alley. She was talking to a half-awake guy. Obviously drunk from the stench of alcohol. She was trying to make the guy feel better so she went closer to pat his head. The guy suddenly got mad and pushed her forcefully. She hit a pole. She had a terrible concussion and she was paralyzed because she was pushed backwards and the pole damaged her spinal cord. I was so worried. I cried for days. A week later, her body gave up. The guy went to jail for a few month but his family was able to bail him out. Drunk or sober, what he did was unforgivable."
Tears slowly fall from his eyes. Seeing him like this made my heart churn. We sat down beside Mae's grave and I looked at him with sad eyes.
"Can I get a hug?" He sniffed and wiped his eyes with the sleeve of his sweater.
I just spread my arms wide and nodded. He quickly wrapped me in his arms and brought me closer. He placed my legs over his and we just sat there, hugging in silence. Soon enough, Lucas stood up and looked down at me.
"Let's go grab some lunch." He helped me up and we bid our goodbyes to Mae, promising her that we'll be back soon.
As we were on our way to McDonalds, I finally aske him the question I have been wanting to ask him since he told me about Mae.
"Why didn't you tell me about Mae before? You only told me about Isabelle."
He sighed before answering, "I didn't know how to tell you about it and I didn't want to be all mushy that time." He just shrugged and laughed quietly.
Lucas entered the Drive-thru lane and we waited for our turn. I was about to ask him why were we taking the drive thru instead of eating in. I just held myself. Once we got our food, we drove silently.
A few minutes later, I realised that we were already on the outskirts of Atlantic.
"Where are we going?" I poked him on the cheek.
"You'll see." He smiled and held my hand with his.
