(Not proofread sorry)
Allison's P.O.V
"See you later darling. Becareful okay?" I nodded my head at my mom. I did my best to explain to her what happened to me. I even made up some stories just to make it more realistic to her.
I grabbed my coat from the coat rack and proceeded outside. I hopped in the backseat of my dad's car. Kevin is flying back to Detroit today so he's on shotgun. I looked outside and saw a group of girls laughing around. I breathed out a shaky sigh. I wish I had friends.
I leaned my head against the window and watched as the neighborhood passed by in a swift blur. Without me noticing, dad was already pulling over infront of the school building. I grabbed my crutches and stepped out of the car. Kevin got out and helped me with my stuff.
"Are you coming back for Christmas?" I asked as I hugged him.
"Sorry kiddo, I can't. Winter break's next week and I have a lot to catch up on." He hugged me tighter and ruffled my hair.
"Oh okay, take care." I bumped his hip and laughed quietly.
"You too sis, call me when need me alright? Now hustle up, you're gonna be late!" He hugged me one last time and helped me up the front steps.
We muttered quick goodbyes and then I walked down the crowded halls. Most eyes were on me and as I passed by murmurs can be heard. But me, the stupid me decided to listen.
"What's up with her?"
"I thought her family is broke."
"Where did they get the money?"
I laughed quietly to myself, a discreet smirk playing on my lips as I walked through the sea of people. I shook my head and thought to myself,
Only if they knew.

I sat quietly at the back of english class and patiently waited for the bell to ring. I placed everything inside my backpack and crouched down to tie the laces of my shoes.
As the bell rang, everybody rushed out of the room. I slung my bag over my shoulders and followed suit. I weaved through the sea of people and walked inside Geometry class.
When I reached my seat at the back of the room, Lucas entered the room. His eyes scanning the perimeter of the room until it landed on me. He smiled and quickly sat beside me. He placed his things on his chair and faced me.
"Hey Al." He started with a lop-sided grin and waved his hand in front of my face.
"Yeah?" I leaned against my seat and crossed my arms. Giving him an emotionless expression.
He breathed out through his mouth and frustratedly ran his fingers through his dark hair. He propped his elbows on my desk.
"Look love, i'm sorry for what I did yesterday. I know that I don't have the right to take action or even react that way but I just don't want you getting hurt. Don't ask me why because I also have no idea. I can't promise anything but I'll try not to pounce on him once he does something again." He smiled weakly.
His last statement made me chuckle, lifting the tension in the air.
"It's alright, I also over-reacted so i'm sorry about that. But next time, follow my lead okay?"
"Yes ma'am!" He playfully winked and raised his fist infront of me. I looked at his fist with a confused expression.
He gasped and covered his mouth in feighn shock. He shook his head at me like I was a 5 year old kid who misbehaved.
"Oh my god woman! You don't know what's a fist bump?! Where have you been? Have you been living under a rock or something?" He laughed hysterically. Retartedly clapping his hands like a seal. I rolled my eyes and smacked him at the back of his head.
"I know what's a fist bump idiot. I just think fist bumps are for guys." I shrugged.
"What the heck Al, what are you girls supposed to recieve? Pinches on the cheek?" He looked at me like I was a complete idiot.
"I don't know, maybe?"
"You're weird." He pinched my cheeks and laughed. I swatted his hands away from my face. I couldn't help but laugh too.

"Are you happy?" He turned to me while driving.
"Ofcourse I am! I'm finally getting this thing off me." I gestured to my leg.
Lucas and I are headed to the hospital to get my cast removed. I am really excited to get this off so I can finally drive myself to places and not have crutches with me all the time. Lucas parked infront of the hospital and ran to help me out of the car.
We took the elevator and walked down the quiet halls of the hospital. I knocked on the door and we went inside.
"Good afternoon doc." I smiled at my doctor.
"Hello Allison, who is this lovely young man? Is he your boyfriend?" He eyed Lucas behind me. A blush crept into my face making me look like a tomato.
"No, he isn't my boyfriend. This is Lucas, he's just accompanying me." I mumbled. Lucas and my doctor shook hands.
"Okay, let's get that cast off shall we?"
I nodded and walked towards the small bed that was attached to the wall. Lucas lifted me up carefully and heaved himself up beside me. I mumbled a quick thank you before looking away to hide my flushed face.
The doctor took about thirty minutes. With the help of a nurse, they took off the cast and applied some type of lotion on my leg after.
"Apply this lotion for one week, after your bath and before you sleep." He instructed and gave me the medium sized bottle.
We thanked him and got out of his clinic. I held unto Lucas because i'm not yet used to the light feeling.
"How does it feel?" He asked and looked down at me.
"A bit weird but really happy that the devil was off of me." I beamed at him as we got in the elevator.
"Devil? Really Al?" I just shrugged at him. He laughed and smiled at me heart-warmingly. It made me want to melt but I held myself.
We laughed together and as we got out of the elevator, he gave me a side hug. We talked and talked all the way home.
