Training on Onderon

They had just stepped onto the old, what looked to be some sort of temple, turned into a  base. It was mostly rubble, but there was a comm computer in the middle. The rebels and Jedi stood around it. Obi-wan had informed them that they would not fight their war for them, but they will train them to defeat the droids on Onderon. 

"We have supplies, and will be here to help, for a short time." Anakin said, he turned to Rex and nodded. "Alright. I'll show you how the 501st destroys clankers!" Rex said with a smirk, "I need a team to go and get the supplies about half a click east." He informed them. "Shouldn't be too hard." Replied Saw. So, Rex, Saw, Steela, Lux Bonteri, and Ahsoka went to get the supplies. 

"Ahsoka! It's nice to see you again." Lux said after catching up to her, she was ina  conversation with Rex. She looked at him, "It's..nice to see you too." She said with a small smile. She had to act nice, even though the last time she saw him, he pretended to be her fiance and nearly got her killed, he thought it'd be a good idea to try to join death watch.

"I wanted to thank you, again. For helping me see the better path in my life." He told her. "Uh, your welcome." She replied, she then turned back to Rex. "What were you saying Rex?" She asked, trying to ignore Bonteri. There was something about him she didn't really trust, and the way he looked at her made her very uncomfortable. There was something about Bonteri that Rex didn't trust. He didn't like the way he looked at Ahsoka.

"Huh? Oh, right. I was going to ask you what you knew about this planet. Onderon is one of the few planets i haven't fought on." Rex asked, trying to shake the bad feeling about Lux. "Well, i read up on it before we came. Apparently it's under the control of a crooked king, King Sanjay Rash. And he's sided with the Sepratists. Other then that, i just know it's got a lot of plants and mud." She replied. Rex nodded.

They arrived at the destination, and grabbed the crates of supplies. Explosives, Droid poppers, guns, ect. They took them back to the camp, and began training. "Ok, your going to destroy this tank. You need to throw a detonator in each hole, because there are two droids in each hatch. But the top one is the most important, for it's the command hatch." Ahsoka explained, she then turned to Rex and nodded. 

Rex hopped onto the tank, opened the first hatch, threw in the detonator, then swung around on the barrel of the canon and walked across it and got to the command hatch, threw the detonator in, and did a backflip off the tank. Then blue electric shocks covered the tank, meaning it was deactivated and dead. 

"Alright, i want you to practice in pairs, go go go!" Saw and Lux were up first. Saw took the bottom hatch, while Lux tried to get to the top. He was climbing on the barrel, and slid, knocking down Saw in the process. They stood off to the side, while two others tried. "Come on Hustle! Move like a solider, a real solider!" Rex yelled, trying to get them to work a bit harder. He just wants them to be at their best. 

Ahsoka saw Steela tending to Lux, she wanted to laugh, his face when he fell was priceless. Instead she walked over to Rex, "How different is this to training your men?" She asked, "Well, i wouldn't call them shinies, but i can work with them." He told her with a smirk. "Don't push 'em too hard, Rex 'ol boy." She said with a wink and walked over to her master. 

Rex turned back to his work, Anakin stopped Ahsoka. "Ahsoka, your not getting distracted...are you?" "No Master." "Good.". She looked back at Rex and sighed. After they had finished training with the tank, they trained with droid poppers and death rollers. "These droids have twin blasters, and their own force field. But, they can't detect small, slow moving objects." Ahsoka instructed. Rex grabbed a droid popper, and tossed it to her. She carefully rolled it behind the droid, and it went through the shield and the droid deactivated.
