Not everything happens as planned.

One moment you're happy and the next it all turns upside down.

That is how our lives have been these past few years but right now, we're in a good place.

I look up from my painting to see my beautiful girlfriend looking in the mirror to see her "progress" as she calls it.

"Babe." She says.

"Yeah?"

Right now, I'm expecting the very question she asks everyday.

"Am I getting fat?"

I sigh, getting up and walking over to her. "How many times are we going to go through this?"

"Until I give birth...and lose the baby weight. So for months."

"You're not fat. In a few months, your legs won't be able to hold you up because of your adorable baby belly. I've never seen pregnancy look so good on someone."

She smiles. "You're sucking up."

I shake my head. "Nah, love. I'm telling you the truth."

"Malik!"

I groan. "I'm changing the locks."

Aly laughs. "In the basement, Lou!"

It has been a few months since everything has happened and Aly is five months pregnant. We moved into a new house, a smaller one than before. We both liked it and decided it would be good for us as of now.

We wanted a new and fresh start and that is exactly what we got.

"When are we finding out the gender of this bad baby?" Louis asked, eating a slice of the blueberry pie Alyson made.

She's been craving everything and actually baking. And they're actually coming out amazing.

"In a few days, actually." She says, smiling. "But I know it's a girl."

"Hear that, Malik? She doesn't want a little Zaynie running around here."

I laughed. "I actually want a baby girl. I want to spoil her. It'll be fun."

"Daddy's girl, already." Aly commented, putting her hand on her stomach.

[Aly's POV]:

"Louis? What's going on? Why did Dan want us to all come?" I asked him.

He shrugged. "I'm not sure. That's what I'm thinking about."

"Is everyone okay?"

"Yeah, that's what he told me when I asked him."

"Guys, calm down." Zayn said, holding my hand as we sat in the back with Eleanor and Louis in the front. "I'm sure everything is alright."

I sigh. "I hope so."

As we stepped inside the house in Doncaster, it felt like a whole different atmosphere. It felt like it was filled with sadness and that scared me.
