"Mels what is it" Matt asked as he was pulled out into the hallway by his best friend and now boyfriend Mello.
"You do realize it's up to us to solve the Kira case right?" Mello asked
"What do you mean?" Matt asked pulling a cigarette out a putting it between his lips.
"Think about it." Mello said as Matt pulled out a lighter to light the cigarette. "L, Light and everyone else on the task force are to close to Kira. He would predict the move they were going to make before they made it. And Nears too little. He can't handle this by himself. Not like we are going to let him anyway."
Matt breathed out smoke, sighing. "You're right. We have to handle this by ourselves. I don't even think it's safe to even tell L, and Light what we're thinking of doing"
"I don't think so either... But don't worry" Mello said squeezing Matts hand. "We will bring him down."
Matt smiled. "You got that right."
"Looks like it's just you, me and the devil makes three." Mello said Matt nodded
"Let's do this, together"
