Chapter 9- Surprise

Its been two months and nothing has happened. I mean besides the constant sex Alex and I have had. Once we mated it was like we weren't able to stop. I felt kind of bad because sometimes I would keep him from his Alpha duties. But I am his mate I should come first. Dylan and Jake are good. Best couple in town. Jake was talking about marriage and I couldn't believe my brother wanted to get married.  

My mom ended up going crazy and I couldn't stand to see her like that. Losing your mate can take a tole on someone. Once she went crazy She killed herself. I understood why she did it but I was still very depressed. I didn't leave My room for a week. I didn't even eat. I even shut Alex out.  

Logan and I have gone out and caught up. Him being normal doesn't really help our "Friendship" It was different with Mariah because I told her everything but Logan doesn't know a thing. And As for Scott. Haven't heard a thing from him since the night Alex and I mated. Maybe he finally gave up.  

"Hazel. You ready?" Alex came up behind me. I folded the piece of paper I had been reading and shoved it under some books. I turned the chair around and smiled up at Alex.  

"As ready as I am ever going to be." Alex's Aunt was throwing a party for the pack. It was only right the Alpha and the new Luna would go. Oh did I forget to mention I'm a Luna now.  

"Alright lets head over there." He pulled me out of the chair taking my hand in his. His Aunt lives about a mile down. She moved out of the pack house and into her own house when she had pups. Most people did. My parents wanted us to grow up with the whole experience. Hah that worked great.  

We walked behind the house and Into the very large backyard. I was greeted by a little boy as soon as I walked in. "Hello." He said as he swayed back and forth. "Hi. Whats your name?" I leaned down so I could be face to face with him.  

"Jackson." He said with a huge grin on his face.  

"Well its very nice to meet you Jackson." I stuck my hand out for him to shake it. He gladly took it.  

"Its very nice to meet you too Luna." He pulled his hand away and I gave him a small smile.  

"Did you need anything?" I asked standing back up.  

"Nope." He shook his head and ran "I told you I would talk to her!" He screamed at his friends. I laughed and Alex wrapped his arm around my waist.  

"See you are making a great Luna." He whispered in my ear.  

I kind of just sat in a chair the whole party. Everyone was jumping in the pool or playing a game of volley ball. The younger boy turned out to be Alex's Aunts 4th kid. I could never have four kids. In fact I haven't really thought about having kids. Four was a little over my limit tho. I was raised in a family of four and Alex was an only child. Why am I even talking about kids I'm barely 19. Granted I wanted pups one day but I think I'll take my time.  

I watched as Alex played with some of the kids. His mother Mary came and sat in a seat next to me.  

"Makes you want to have pups doesn't it." She gestured towards Alex.  

"I want pups for sure. I just don't know when." I shrugged.  

"He would make a good father and I want grandchildren before I die." She nudged my shoulder. 

"Now Mary don't pester the poor girl." I turned and saw Alex's father Andrew coming up to us. 

"I was not pestering her, was I Hazel?" I threw my hands up in defeat. "Okay maybe I was pestering a little." All of us laughed. I wished my parents were more like Alex's I envied him for that. I was never able to laugh with my parents.
