Katie, eight years old, brown haired and well taken care of stood at the gates of the school she was in. There weren't alot of kids still waiting and she was almost the only one.
A grey car pull infront of her and she climbed in.
Now see...as you should know, not all marriages have great turn outs and this one didn't either have a great ending or a bad one. This is exactly what you can call a complicated situation and like every marriage or divorce couples...they fight.
Katie close the door after climbing in and kiss her mother, Kate on her cheek. Anyone could tell that Katie looked just like her beautiful mother that took a really big looser to divorce her for a younger apple pie.
"Who's the lucky parent this weakend?" Kate asked with a smile removing her hand from the clutch turning to Katie.
"You. Daddy's place is boring and I don't like his new wife?" Katie replied with the most cutest cheekiest facial expression.
"What? Nicole? I thought you liked her katie." Kate giggled.
"What makes you think I would like Nicole?" Katie asked extremely adorable.
"Well she's got style." Kate replied turning back to the front.
"Yeah and all about ordering dad around as if he's some sort of future planner." Katie roled her eyes.
Kate laugh and put her hand on her daughter's face.
"No matter what, you'll always be my baby girl" kate smiled. Katie gave a little smile and put on her safety belt.
The car pull away and the two hit the road home ready to take on the rest of the day but unfortunately Kate has work to do like always.
