Late night there was a knock on the door.
Kate look at the time and walk to the door. She gasped when she saw it was Richard. What he be doing out this late?
"Richard? It's 3am in the morning what on earth are you doing here?" Kate asked trying yo adjust the air.
"Can I come in? We need to talk." Richard asked tensed up.
"Sure." Kate back up and went out of the way for him to come in.
They sat at the table infront of each other ready to speak.
"I'd like to apologise for coming so late and for earlier. I swear to you Kate I'll never in a million years call you cheap or anything. That was just a story made by a idiot and believed by a fool. Please." Richard begged taking her hands.
Kate look down then back up at him.
"Does your wife even know that you're here?" she asked taking her hands out of his.
"No not at all. She's at work and I don't want her to know for now. So I told her I'm gonna drive around town." he replied feeling his fingers that just left Kate's soft hands.
Kate burst into a big laugh and calmed herself immediately.
"Sorry it's just funny for the fact that you've lied to your wife." Kate giggled putting her hand infront of her mouth.
"Well now that I see it makes you laugh I should do that regularly." Richard smiled as Kate remove her hand from her mouth.
Kate laugh and look down at her lab then back up at him with a smile.
"Kate, why didn't you just ask me?" Richard asked with a wondering facial expression.
Kate's smile slowly fades away.
"I don't know. Christina also said I sh..." she started.
"Christina?" Richard interrupted.
"Yes, Christina Benjamin. She's my shrink." Kate replied looking him up and down.
"Oh. I didn't know you're seeing a shrink." Richard said.
Kate smile and look into his dreamy eyes.
"Kate..." Richard took Kate's right hand. "I wanna put our baby inside you."
Kate got tears in her eyes. She jump of her chair into his arms.
"Oh thank you, thank you so much Richard." She cried in his shoulder full of excitement.
