That night Richard sat at the table hardly eating anything at all. Katie look up at him filled with a little bit worries and said, "Bella said that you will get in hospital like mommy if you don't eat your food."

"Katy, Bella doesn't excise she's just some made up thing." Richard said and move his plate away folding his arms at Katie.

"Bella is alive whether you like it or not! I wish mom was home and you were in the hospital because unlike you, she understands me and love Bella as much as she loves me!" Katy shout then ran up to her room.

"What's wrong with you?" Nicole asked madly at Richard like he was some sort of retart.

"I'm just telling her the truth." Richard replied irritated.

"For christ sake Richard, she's only a child! How do you tell a eight year old her mother is dying!" Nicole shout with eager.

"I'm not gonna tell her..." Richard started.

"Then don't tell her what's real and what's not real! Her imagination might just be more real then you'll ever be!" Nicole interrupted.

"What?" They heard. They look at where the voice came from and saw Katie. "Is mommy dying?"

"Katie sweetheart. Mommy's gonna be fine. She told me she lives for you." Richard replied trying to get his daughter off that thought of the death of her mother.

"Stop lying to me!" Katy shout and ran back up to her room crying.

"Nice done genius." Nicole said and move her plate away, rolling her eyes and walkong off to her room.

The next morning Richard came into Kate's hospital room and she wasn't in her bed. The bed was empty and abandoned only to find a doctor.

"Wow, where's Kate?" He asked a doctor that was fixing the bed.

"I'm really sorry mister but..." the doctor look down then back up at him as his heart starts racing faster then race cars. "Visit time is over."

"But I need to see her. Please tell me where she is." Richard begged half relieved it wasn't something else.

He turn around seeing Kate walking arm in arm with another female doctor laughing with her at some sort of joke they must've made.

"Oh, hey stranger." Kate greeted him sith a smile.

"Hi." He greeted with a smile appearing on his face.

"Doctor McKay said I'll be out of here as soon as I'm better and we're making a progress." Kate said with a nice smile and got dizzy which made her smile dissapear immediately.

"Wow." The two doctors help her lay down on her bed.

"Turns out it wasn't something from what they gave her on the day of the baby planting." The doctor said and stood next to Richard scanning his weak patient.

"Does that means she's alright?" Richard asked hoping she was.

"Well I wish I could say she's gonna make it. It's a disease and it's travelling her whole body. But Kate is a strong women and I can see she's fighting it." The doctor replied as they looked at each other then back at Kate that was laying in bed looking so weak.

"Once she's happy the next moment she's weak. How does she do that?" Richard asked wondering.

"She's a strong women." The doctor said nodding his head.

"Well she always had to be." Richard agreed and walk to Kate taking her hand in his. He took a seat and kissed her hand looking at her beautiful face. Her eyes was weak and her mouth was half open searching for air.

"Just call us if you need something." The doctor said and excused them.

"Kate, I need you at home. I'm turning into a monster." Richard cried kissing her hand over and over again. She took both his hands sitting up straight looking at him.

"I'm going home when I give my last breath. This disease is unbeatable. I'm suffering Richard and I want you to take good care of Katy." Kate replied selfishly.

"No Kate don't say that."Richard stood up and hold her in his strong powerful arms. "You're gonna win this okay." Richard cried kissing her head.

He shhht her to sleep and put her down softly and place his hand on her cheek.

"I love you Kate." He whispered and kiss her on her soft sleepy lips then walked out. He stop at the door look back at her again then left for real.
