Aidan, such an interesting person. The man is 32, married, and just bought a new house. His friend Jorge helped him move into his new house. A nice two-story house. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a nice big kitchen, and a nice view from the upstairs bedroom window.
Jorge, Aidan's best friend. Jorge has always been the smart one of their small friend group. Always a planner. Never one to just "go with the flow". Jorge used to live across the street from Aidan and his wife Nicole. Jorge and Nicole never got along. That never made the friendship easy for him and Aidan.
After Jorge and Aidan finished up unpacking the boxes they sat in the living room on a nice brand new couch and just had a nice one on one talk.
"Man I really wish Nicole was here to see the finished product." Aidan said missing his wife.
"When did she say she'd be back? Jorge replied.
"She said anywhere from a few days to a few weeks." Aidan replied.
Nicole had to go leave town because just a few days until moving day she received a phone call saying that her sister was in a terrible car accident. She flew out that night to go see her family.
Nicole's family never liked Aidan. They tried almost everything to make sure they wouldn't get married. But never the less her and Aidan have been happily married for about 5 years.
Nicole had told Aidan to stay back home and she'd be back soon. She knew that her family would hate it if he was there. So she made Aidan stay back.
"Maybe I should go over there and surprise her, I'm sure that would be the nice thing to do." Aidan said to Jorge.
"Yea man, go for it. I'll just house sit for you while you're gone." Jorge replied.
"I'll go first thing in the morning. You mind driving me to the airport?" Aidan asked.
"Sure, but you gotta chip in for gas money" Jorge replied.
