A week has gone by since Aidan woke up from his coma. He's been getting his strength back little by little, every day. Aidan's been terrified thinking about where Nicole is. 'Is she alive?' He thinks to himself. 'She must be.' Is always his next thought. He's gotta keep hoping cause if she's not, then what will his reason be for waking up every morning.

It's morning. Almost seven. The sun's still trying to wake up. The last few nights Jorge hasn't gotten any sleep. He's afraid of what could happen to Aidan. He know's he's not ready to go out and fight yet but Aidan's been very eager to get out there. He knows he can't stop Aidan if he really wants to go.

Jorge steps outside to check and see if there are any zombies nearby. He does this every morning. He understands that safety is important, especially when it comes to keeping Aidan and himself safe in the apocalypse. He thinks to himself "I wonder if he'll try and leave soon?" Thinking about Aidan. Knowing him for so long he knows he wants to know where Nicole is and if she's safe.

'I know the cold reality.' Jorge thinks to himself. Thinking about the chances of Nicole being alive. 'She's probably been dead since the start.' He thinks. Nicole's never been a fighter. She always tried to take the peaceful way out of situations. Jorge knew that if she was alive she wouldn't be by herself.

It's now eight in the morning. Jorge is done checking for zombies and is heading back to the house. Aidan's just waking up now. Aidan gets out of bed feeling great. The best he's felt since before the coma. He thinks he's back to one hundred percent. Jorge knows he isn't though.

Jorge and Aidan are sitting at the table having a small breakfast. "Can we go out today?" Aidan asks knowing the answer before Jorge speaks.

"No, you're not ready." Replied Jorge.

"Then when can we?" Asked Aidan once again knowing the answer before he says it. "Once you're back to normal" Aidan says in a mocking manner right before Jorge could talk.

"If you knew the answer before you asked then why'd you ask it?" Jorge said slightly annoyed.

"Because I'm back to normal." Aidan responded.

"No, you're not." Jorge said. Aidan walks upstairs in anger.

As it gets darker Aidan comes up with a plan. He wants to leave as soon as possible. "I'm good to go." Aidan says to himself. As it turns to nine in the evening Aidan heads downstairs. "I'm leaving." He tells Jorge who's sitting on the couch.

 "No, you're not." Replied Jorge.

"Look, Jorge I love you but I'm thirty-two. You don't get to tell me if I can go outside or not." Aidan says.

"Fine, do what you want." Replies Jorge.

"Really? That's it?" Aidan says confused.

"Well yeah, you're right. I'm not your Dad. You can do what you want." Jorge says to a stunned Aidan.

"Well alright then. I'm going." Aidan said.

"Ok, but I'm going with." Jorge replied

"You're going with?" Aidan said surprised.

"Sure. I haven't been any further than this house for a while so yeah, I'm coming with." Jorge replied. They agreed they'd leave in the morning as they knew day time would be ideal.

It's morning. Almost seven. The sun's still trying to wake up. Jorge has been up for about an hour at this point. Aidan just waking up now. Jorge has been packed and ready to go. He's anxious about this. Leaving the house. Aidan walks downstairs. "So, you ready?" Aidan asked Jorge.

"As I'll ever be." Jorge responded. They set off in search of a way to stop the Virus and in the process, find Nicole.
