It's been a few days. Jorge and Aidan have been moving from house to house trying not to be spotted. Aidan's a shell of who he was when he started this journey. They now attempt to go back to where it all started, Aidan's house.

They both fear what could happen to the other. Jorge afraid of what Aidan might do to himself. He thinks Aidan can't live with himself for having to leave Nicole behind. Aidan doesn't think Jorge will make it back to the house. That he'll kick the bucket due to stress before they get there.

They stop at a random house for the night. knowing they need sleep if they are to make it back alive. They set up camp inside. Jorge and Aidan sleeping just a few feet from each other. Making sure the other is still alive.

"Jorge?" Aidan asks. "Why didn't we just go home after we found Nicole?"

"I don't know Aidan. I really don't know." Replied Jorge. "I wish we were smarter. We could've saved Christopher and Nicole."

"Why do we keep moving?" Asks Aidan.

"What do you mean?" Replies Jorge.

"Why do we keep living when the people who deserve to live are dead?" Says Aidan.

"There's no rhyme or reason to it. I think we just have to keep moving in their honor." Said Jorge.

They sleep for the night. They know they have to have some strength to make it home.

It's now eight in the morning. The sun's wide awake. Both Aidan and Jorge are awake. They pack up their stuff and head out. By the end of the day, they should be on the outskirts of Brentwood.

They start moving, they see a gas station.

"Should we?" Asks Jorge.

"No. Let's just go home." Replied Aidan.

They keep walking. It starts to get dark. They decide since it's just them, they set up a campfire in the woods. Jorge set up the fire while Aidan finds two good sized logs and sets them on both sides of the campfire. They both sit down.

"You still have those hotdogs you found back in Grove?" Asks Jorge.

"Sure do. Remember when you almost handed them to Kelly?" Says Aidan.

"Yea...Then Christopher shot her." Replies Jorge.

"Yea...Let's try to not remember that part." Replied Aidan.

They both stick a hotdog on the stick and start roasting it over the fire.

"Got any marshmallows? We could make smores." Said Jorge.

"No, but I could find some of the other stuff and just replace the mallows with the hotdog." Replied Aidan.

"Let's just stick to the hotdogs being hotdogs." Said Jorge. "Hey, I'll hold your dog if you can grab some more firewood."

"Sure, I'll be a minute. I think I gotta drain the main vein as well." Replies Aidan.

Aidan hands Jorge his hotdog stick and goes to get more firewood. As soon as Aidan's away Jorge hears something behind him. He turns around to see Dylan and Drew both with their guns out.

"Please don't do this, we'll be gone in the morning." Says a desperate Jorge.

"I don't think it matters where you'll be tomorrow. Although I guess I'd be impressive if a dead body could move on its own." Says Dylan.

"Please don't do this. We can leave right now if that helps." Says Jorge.

"Nah, it won't effect anything. There's no getting out of this one." Drew says whilst putting his gun to Jorge's head.

"Please no." Says a crying Jorge.

Aidan comes back and slowly tries to sneak up on Dylan with his gun in hand, ready to shoot the man who killed Christopher. As he's within a foot from Dylan a gunshot is heard. Drew had pulled the trigger. Jorge's body falls over. Immediately after hearing Drew's gun go off Aidan shoots his gun and kills Dylan. Landing the gun to the back of his head.

Drew runs off, trying to get far away from Aidan knowing he'd be next. Aidan goes over to Jorge's body and falls to his knees.

"It didn't have to be like this. " Aidan says whilst holding Jorge. "We could have just stayed back at the house."

Aidan throws Dylan's body onto the fire and lets it burn.

After an hour Aidan sits on one of the logs. The fire grows bigger. He hears a noise from behind him. 'It's probably zombies.' He thinks to himself. He then sees zombies walking towards him. 'They're surrounding me.' He thinks. He wonders if this is it. 'Do I continue? And live with their memories keeping me going, or do I let this be it. Do I choose to live or do I choose to die.' He thought to himself.
