In a crowd full of people, she's the one with her gaze directed towards the ground.
She's always hid from unnecessary attention, but subconsciously she just wanted someone to notice her.
Not just notice her, per say. She wanted someone to notice the way she beautifully thought about the world.
Then she wanted to connect with them on a deeper level than "small talk".
