I wasn't trying to be dishonest.
I was just trying to make you happy,
And I see now it made you the opposite.
I should have known it would end badly,
And I know this apology is moderate.
But if you would just hear my side,
Maybe you wouldn't be so mad.
I was just trying to
guide,
So you wouldn't be so
sad.
